Attention global family and world community:
Can we please stop overusing the words "family" and "community"?
And can we also rediscover more genuine usages of these words?

Yes, I'm with you! For our times, I would also add to watch out for food intolerances, allergies, or foods that generally make us feel bad, perhaps because of mold or lectins or whatever might be going on.
Part of the magic of going straight carnivore and even something like lion diet in the beginning is to allow your system to reset so you can tell more easily as you slowly add things back in what bothers you and what doesn't. Of course if you happen to be dealing with alphagal where you are sensitive to red meat, that's a different thing altogether...
I may at some point. I'm not quite there yet though.
Absolutely. We are a large household with various dietary needs right now, and adding a tedious, complex diet is a huge ask.
I take my lunch and dinner to work, and it typically consists of 2 lbs of ground beef made into buttery smash burgers with cheese. I add good sea salt and fresh ground black pepper. And done.
Right?! I have spent a lot of time learning about health and wellness over the last 15 or so years. So much of it was misguided both in the conventional and natural worlds. The carnivore diet is the most generally effective thing I've found, and so easy. There's really nothing to sell except salt and meat, and a few other animal products.
Over 2 months on almost no carbs or sugar. I've lost a modest amount of weight, but the real story is how much better I'm feeling in a dozen different ways. Mitochondrial function matters.

"Thank you" is a funny phrase. What on Earth is a thank?
It's also funny the way we use it.
It's required for the briefest of personal interactions and often ignored for greater efforts.
Did you hand your partner a piece of gum while they were in labor? Thank you is required.
They carried twins for 9 months and went through labor? Thank you is not required.
You held a door for someone for 3/8ths of a second? Thank you is required.
You built the building? Thank you is not required.
You hand a family member a straw on their way out the door? Thank you is required.
They come back home from a hard week at work? No thank you is required.
And before you say thank you to me for writing this little note, I just want to say, you're welcome.

I'm not sure if Snort and Iris will follow hashtags yet like Amethyst will.
Amazing days are nice. But sometimes boring is where it's at.

Could your internet speed be part of it?
What you're looking for is someone who tried a mattress out for a short time, and for some reason couldn't/didn't return it or for someone reselling trial period returns.
There's nothing wrong with buying new. But most of us are reasonably comfortable sleeping on hotel mattresses which may have been previously used by hundreds of people whereas a used mattress typically was used by one or two people.
Also nice mattresses typically come from nice homes.
Like hack: If you're in the market for a good mattress, search your local Facebook, Craigslist, or OfferUp listings for "like new" mattresses that have been sanitized and inspected. You can sometimes find nice name brand mattresses that are nearly new at less than half the original price.

For my US friends, this election season ask yourself, "Would I let this candidate run my lemonade stand?"
Is this the first presidential candidate to be on nostr? Assuming that is, his campaign controls this account.
Making some comfrey salve with tallow today. So far I’ve only used coconut oil. The tallow is from a farm here in town as well as the beeswax. I love using ingredients that are only a few miles away. We freeze dry the comfrey leaves after picking from our property. We still have a few tins left in the Etsy shop which are also available to purchase with lightning #comfreysalve #grownostr https://www.etsy.com/listing/1324072877/
We are giving a blended coconut oil/comfrey mix to our old dog that has severe hip issues. It has kept him more mobile and dramatically reduced his pain. He's an 80lb dog and he gets about a heaping tablespoon full a day. We haven't tried giving him more, but that seems to be enough to keep him from hurting when he's laying still.
Nostr is nice.
