I've seen several complaints recently about people still on Twitter being hit with like snuff and porn a lot recently. I wonder what the cause of that uptick is?
That was the thing that drove me off Twitter about a year ago.
I need a new laptop because I think my NIC is finally dead. Wi-Fi card is fine, but my ethernet plug no longer works.
Unless there's something physically broken, you probably don't need a new laptop.
It's a little masochistic, but it's definitely fun. There's always at least one point in the hike where you're going up yet another mile or so of switchbacks with about a 40 pound pack on your back wondering who the hell thought this would be a good idea.
But then you get to some gorgeous mountain lake and forget that you were slogging through literal hell to get there. π

I would love to be optimistic about that. But I think there will always be influencers of some sort. Thinking for oneself is not as common of a trait as you would hope it would be. At least in my experience.

My current favorite stack for a chicken sandwich :
Milk and Honey White bread.
Sambal oelek and mustard on the bread.
Tomato, onion, garlic slaw, and of course a decent chicken patty. This particular one was dredged in seasoned potato starch and flour and then fried in ghee.

I think the only reason I like summer more is that it's so much easier to go backpacking when mountains aren't packed with snow.
