Ok so calling nextcloud "bad" is not the best way of putting it. Its great used it for years but because its such a monster of an app suite its slow in a lot of ways. Ive been slowly replacing things that I had used on nextcloud and did the caldav server today and man.....radicale is so much more lightweight and faster at cross device syncing for my calender and tasks.
Holy crap nextcloud is so bad. Ive been useing radicale for less than a day and its so much faster / better. Fuuck.

Probably spent close to 20 min ripping my hair out Checking and rechecking an auth file that "didn't exist" when two letters were swapped and apparently I was too blind to see it.
Basically. I'd come off as an illiterate most of the time if I didn't have spell check.
Typos in config files will probably end up being the death of me one of these days.

According to my friend who got COVID, I think from the same place that I did, them losing their taste was the last hurrah and then it came back the next day.
And I'm pretty healthy otherwise, so I'm assuming this is going to be the last little hurra, and then I'll be done.
I'd rather have a fucking raging 100 degree fever sweating buckets near my deathbed than this bullshit.
