figuring it all out I appreciate your humor, insight, and your post whether or not I agree

Are there any models that have worked other than advertising? Or subscriptions?

I'm not quite sure how Craigslist supports itself despite being among the top 10 web pages.

Wikipedia asks for money.

What if we looked at the market for social media and then proportion it out according to the type of user and number.

So maybe there will be a Facebook-type clien, Google type, Craigslist type, and new ones like Tik tok that pop up for kids.

For me I use Facebook as a repository of contacts from college plus access to family pictures. I would have deleted FB if it wasnt for browsing Marketplace.

I use LinkedIn as little as possible and mainly just as a professional version of Facebook.

Twitter is my news app.

And Nostr is my vision board space.

So maybe Primal can capture Facebook/Insta/ Twitter all in one.

If Nostr is a protocol like the Internet, maybe it turns into web browsing difference.

Firefox, Chrome,Safari, Microsoft Edge.

However I think there may be more differentiation for Nostr since it's a social layer..it will probably mimic the amount of social apps. News, dating, professional, family, friends, banking.

I don't know if I like the idea of my banking app knowing what Im doing in dating world... So maybe there will be certain profiles that are just for certain clients. 🤔

I'm more confused about how it might look now than when I started writing this.

So, I was just looking at Tethers website. From their hiring, they appear to be taking over the world.

It almost looks like they are just going to replace banking globally in one fell swoop

with Tether in an app

I was just in El Paso and shocked at how many big bank buildings are in one small city. They are all appear empty and the town itself feels like nothing is going on in downtown.

There is also an imposing Federal reserve building with no windows and a railway track tunnel underneath...

There are also some very imposing structures that are the Federal and State courts that kinda remind me of how important law is.

So does this just make the diesel more efficient? Sorta like a Prius for trucks?

Train engines have worked that way for years, so I'm not sure why trucks don't unless it was a battery or motor tech issue. trains are more weight agnostic than a truck.

I feel so guilty being on vacation and seeing everyone around working.

Workers in a beach resort must start getting a a warped view of reality that they are the only ones working and everyone else is playing.

Resort worker syndrome

It's beautiful. It's my first day here, but I do like long range planning so I love your question.

my thoughts on Bukele would be:

If the people of ES were smart enough to vote him in the first time, they will deliver again as long as the elections are fair.

I imagine Bukele will also have king-making power to find and recommend the next "Tim Cook" version of himself. this stability is going on for years.

So the citizens should be a really good ballast for the ship of state for a generation at least.

I'm just spouting some nonsense here, because you got me to think. For example a US flag on the moon or a Russian flag at the bottom of the artic ocean on the north pole. Just because I can say "this is mine" doesn't mean that i've done the "proof of work" to keep it.

California wildfire is an example of people collectively not doing the proof of work to either maintain their property in the face of nature or malicious actors.

Catching the trophy wife or husband and not doing the work to keep them might be another example.

I think you're right that it's "death". I believe that echoes a religious concept of death entering when the human told the first lie.

I do like that Bitcoin seems to be the best way to protect against property and time theft until we live in utopia.

I just don't know if I can agree that stealing is anti-life. The native Americans were basically murdered and stolen from. I don't know if there's an moral judgement on these things, they just are.

God didn't assign us territory and resources and relationships.

I'm not even sure if even our bodies may just be "on loan" from God.

If you read this far imnuso, congrats, you're either very patient or a speed reader or both. And I miss your colorful Avatar and I would steal it if I could.

Interesting. Some stealing is like mis-priced opportunity. Something may feel "like a steal". Some things look like they are neglected and need a new owner.

I frequently murder when I eat a piece of cake that someone's left in the fridge. There is a "use-by-date" on some things. And some things are just languishing, including people in relationships.

Is stealing a form of negotiation, even if it may be at gunpoint?

If something is not already taken is it worth having?

This was a funny tweet. Andres didn't like my favorite response tho!
