The apostles had highly contentious debates, they had fire and fervour. Testing, reproveing and also conceding. Jesus himself had many contentious discussions. Where are the men who are willing to rise up to the challenge of heated debate. I love being proved wrong. It usually comes with profound revelation. I believe strongly and that creates the assertiveness needed to argue ideas.
I am testing your knowledge and wit because I wanted to see if I would be willing to follow you on Nostr. You share platitudes and make shallow unconvincing arguments. You claim that the word is gods word and you misquote the supposed "word" in your bio. I seek intellectual stimulus and debate.
That is how we truly learn. By being challenged.
I'll quickly go pierce someones ear with an awl. Give me a sec.
"The word" is a very broad historical text. Obedience to the word could mean anything.
When I question the loose term "obedience" I am not fighting anything. I am indirectly challenging you to define in more specific context why you believe we should be obedient, how should obedience be exercised and to what end.
The why, how and howcome, if you will.
Then to the amusment of everyone who reads some interesting thoughts and ruminations might occur.
I challenge you to assert yourself in your convictions.
I throw down the gauntlet. Are you game?
I find that understanding the word helps to break free from unnecessary self inflicted castigation. The gospel is good news because of the Liberty you receive in Christ.
Demands for obedience does not sit well with me.
Zap simping. Sometimes I write something and then I'm like, if it sounds too nice, they might think I'm sucking up. Then I add some contention to get the "take it for what it's worth" vibes.
Then the point I was trying to make get's lost.
I only block blatantly obscene and pornogrphic accounts that try to interact with me. I believe it is good to let everyone have a voice.
I don't have thousands of followers harrasing me though. So maybe I'll change my mind at some point.
If someone zaps you all the time and you zap them back a lot.
Are you wash trading love and appreciation?
Oh, they were all watching the projectile. The person making the video knew beforehand what the target was no question.

Fuckin' hell man. Beirut, Lebanon. Civilian buildingππ.
Who the hell randomly makes a video of a building about to get bombed. Prescient, lucky or complicit.
Does not even shirk.
Long distance recording?
Dad jokes only get worse as time ticks by. But they just gotta happen.
No, but you would be labled an extremist either way.
I love this little lesson on how to interact online. Brava nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a!

My problem is I am just as insufferable in real life as I am online.
Of whom I am a big fan. In my first piece when I mention the parochial office I think of Mr Bumble.

The European Central Bank should write a report on this catastrophy.
I refuse to read fiction while I am busy writing.
Other peoples ideas easily cross pollinate with your own.
I am doing something I believe is novel by publishing the story as I am writing it. It sort of forces me to stick to the narrative rigidly. I do edits though.

I would rather say what I think and feel before I pander to what I believe people would like to hear.
