On a mission to make western shirts in America.

I actually made a hemp shirt a couple years ago. Would love to bring it back

This week - I’m sourcing fabric for our spring / summer 2026 shirts. I’ve got about 3-4 weeks to figure it out, source the materials, get my samples made, shoot photos, make a linesheet - so it’s ready to show stores in early July.

I had a whole post typed out, but then figured, why not just hit record and explain the process.

Going to take photos / video as we work through it, and then,

going to reach out to the community here, to get your guys feedback on what shirts you like most for next summer.

Okay noted! I’d say start with an XL. We pre wash the fabric, but because they’re cotton, they will still shrink about a half inch in the length / sleeve length. Being 6’3 I think the XL length wise will be great.

Without knowing your shoulder length, I’m guessing here.. but my hunch says the XL will be your best bet. It should last you forever - so I always lean more towards a roomier fit. That way you have some space for inevitable shrinkage, you can always get it tailored when/if you need, etc.

We cover all shipping though, so if you need to exchange it or it doesn’t work out, it’s all covered!

Establish a new standard of excellence for high quality low time preference crafted goods.

Okay cool, thanks for the reply here. This is super helpful

Hey I appreciate that!

And that’s a good question. I’ve only got 5 sizes to work with at the moment … because it’s all my resources will allow.

So - if the sizing we have doesn’t work, just bear with me, I hope and plan on expanding it. To fit more bodies - short, tell, wide, skinny, and everything in between.

I’m guessing, without knowing your chest, shoulder or sleeve length - you’re going to want a large or xl.

It might be long. But that’s an easy fix. So if you get it - and it fits, but it’s too long, just let me know. And I’ll provide the next step 👀

For the small handful of people that might see this post -

I spent about 95% of my life, trying to make western shirts in America. Been doing it for 6-7 years. Learning as I go.

Is there any particular type of content, posts, updates - you’d be curious to see, or want to see?

I’m too deep in the weeds. Lately feeling burnt out. Just figured I’d throw this question out there, and see what (if anything comes back).

Open floor!
