One thing I always tell my kids is that being popular or well liked is relatively simple.

People like people who like them.

People who are well liked are people who genuinely like other people.

They aren’t just good at projecting, they actually like and care about others. Their genuine attitude of warmth, asking questions, including people, performing kind acts is the thing that makes them popular.

There are many adults who also need to learn this lesson lol

In my twenties my fatal flaw was arrogance.

In my thirties my fatal flaw is reluctance.

This is likely an overreaction to correcting my arrogance that has now become its own issue.

Balance is the toughest thing to master, but I’m trying.

YOU, by an order of magnitude, are your greatest threat to losing your BTC. The overwhelming majority of the people who will lose BTC will do so because of lost keys.

I have personally dealt with this and trust me, you don’t want this burned into your process by the pain of losing a huge amount of wealth. Do it because Guy told you to.

Make a simple, repeatable backup ritual, and DO IT EVERY FUCKING TIME. If your storage method is across the house, if it’s outside in the rain, get off your ass and go get it, and BACKUP YOUR SEED.

American presidential terms are 4 years and now we're spending 2 of those years worrying about the next election.

During those 2 years we spend $17 billion and drive half the country into frothing madness, but thanks to the electoral college it always comes down to the same 50,000 voters in the same three states.

I would have been successful with or without bitcoin.

That said Bitcoin is a 10x multiplier while at the same time freeing all of my time.

It was a very welcome addition to my life and helped me get where I was going much faster and with much less effort.
