Translations use the in-device ML kit from Google. It uses Firebase to download the language models and then runs it on the device.

I am trying to reproduce it by logging in with your pub key. It might be a post that has something weird on it. The app loads 2 posts beyond the oldest one seeing in your screen. That is probably the one with the issue.

There is no analitics. This software you are using is incorrectly naming the translation AI model download, which uses Firebase, with analitics. There is no way to have translations without downloading language models for each pair.

Yep, the FDroid version doesn't have it. But you will loose notifications into that version.

If you installed via playstore, you have to wait until the playstore updates or uninstall and reinstall the app.
