#aquaponics #bio #filter #grownostr I put this filter on a timer it now runs 15 minutes on 15 minutes off so that it can drain completely. I think the plants in there like that better.
This is used to filter the water, put some oxygen in the water water , there is mint and sweet potato and green onion growing in there. https://video.nostr.build/ecba5c6fa2757420ec2925cbabd970b7bb81c5ad7d2d440e921b3e2008d3055f.mp4
A start9 ( https://store.start9.com/ ) is designed for self hosting and has a nostr relay as one of the apps.

I saw a recent post where someone mentioned you could pay some sats for a hosted relay. Looking...
Also forgot to add that with start9, whoever, wants to connect needs to be on your home network or tor.
Not necessary with the mentioned relay.tools.
Thanks. I'll have to take a look. Mobile now.

An individual relay, mostly yes.
Say some relay is at relay.somerelay.com, an ISP(s) might block that relay or the host (eg Amazon) may refuse to host.
Some backup plans are:
1. (User) Use multiple relays so it's like whack-a-mole.
2. (User) Use an alternate DNS provide such as OpenDNS
3. (Relay) Don't use hosts known to censor.
4. (Relay) Self host. Host inTor.
For the self hosting curious with little technical experience...i recommend nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll
Running a relay at the click of a button that you can experiment with is one of the things you can do with Start9 OS.
For OP, I'd add a couple of possible caveats with Start9 would be that the currently the relay would only be accessible via Tor or on your home network. This could make it difficult if you want others to connect to your relay.
Be sure to properly dehydrate your green beans... Or it may not work out.
I had some that were fine for a month or two. But these are closer to five months.
I ignored some the articles that suggested blanching and some other steps prior to dehydration. It seemed so wasteful and time consuming, especially compared to my evenly, thinly sliced cucumbers that lasted for several months... And I'll probably ignore them on my next round and split the beans lengthwise, and leave in the dehydrator much longer.

Cleared out my garden and calling my first #mittleider garden a success. It grew faster than I expected and yielded more than I expected (will be eating dehydrated cucumber chips for another week or two). It's weird seeing it this empty. #grownostr

Received my Pixel tablet today. With the same computer I used for a previous install, I had #grapheneos installed on it in 15 minutes using the web installer.

Don't hide the details?
GrapheneOS plus the user action of disabling the SIMs and Bluetooth, maybe wifi.
1. Install the Amethyst app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vitorpamplona.amethyst
2. Get your current private key.
If you're using iris.to , Go to Settings -> Private Key and Copy Hex
3. Arrange to get that key to Android amethyst.
The safest, but most painful way is to paste that Copy Hex value into a text editor on your computer. But you might have other means such as emailing it to yourself, file synching, Google Drive, Cryptpad, etc
4. Start Amethyst and enter that private key. On the startup screen, you’ll be asked for your private key. Enter your key (either manually by looking at it on your other computer) or paste it from an email or file.
I'd be surprised if there weren't already some relays running, at the very least to observe traffic.
Probably my last significant cucumber harvest of the season. Most of these aren't as green as my prior cucumbers. I waited a little longer to harvest and the summer sun is now on. Hopefully the dehydrated cucumber chips will still taste great. #mittleider #garden #grownostr

Ditto. This was my first mittleider garden attempt. I harvested a lot of cucumber and will be for another week or two, believe I'll try a fall garden, and will try melons again next spring.
