I switched off the Olympics years before the drama. The skateboard interested me a little but I still question if these are the best skaters or not. I have seen better runs and bigger air in different US competitions.
I just went with a t-shirt, I wanted to be cold, so sick of the heat in Japan.
π€£π€£π€£ This is the third time I have heard that saying on my trip. Perfect weather for me. Now getting ready to go back into my oven in Japan.
Blame the politicians! I have no issue with legal immigrants, I am an immigrant myself. I do have issues with people cutting in line or politicians giving my tax money to those who cut in line.
Here I am San Francisco! What a great escape from the Japanese summer.

And they are both orange! So, he's got that going for him.
Well at least Martha Stewart is still looking okay, with all the photoshopping and orange cover they put over half of her body.

If you ever need a place to stay my family is very open to visitors. Only problem is that I am a little country side.
The fungibility in Japan is very low for bitcoin nor monero. There are inner circles and some companies that accept bitcoin, but I haven't heard of any that accept monero. Japan produces some great technology but they tend to be very behind the times in implementing technology. Do you still use fax? We do!
I had this conversation before with some Argentinians, and broke it down into two areas: fungibility and maintaining wealth. In Argentina monero worked great for both of these traits, good for them. For me in Japan, I need cash for fungibility and bitcoin for maintaining wealth. There isn't just one answer to the solution.
We are all blind men feeling an elephant. Only together do we see the larger picture.
There are infinite "what if" best to see the reality and pivot from there. Good to know your options, but I am still not sold on Monero being a maintainer of wealth.
Sorry, I wasn't referencing you, for "me". I am guessing you like monero for the privacy? Which I can understand, but in Japan paying under the table with cash (very common) gets me a similar type of privacy (maybe not for large purchases).
No, but hopefully my family will be alive for an infinite amount of time. Bitcoin for me isn't a get rich quick scheme but how to maintain wealth and build a foundation for family.
I am not saying there isn't a role for monero (for example: privacy) but multiply anything by βΎοΈ infinite supply and it becomes worthless. Bitcoin is my only savings account, but let's see what shape my checking account takes in the future.
Is the debt amount really the trigger that crashes this system or when the sheeple realize they are in the slaughter lines? Sometimes I think mutton might make a good dinner. πΊπ
I have lived with several zen masters, all of them cats.
