So for my project that will create custom events (kind 30234), which might be a good relay to store these events on? My plan is to use both the users' own preferences but also store the events on a reliable relay and back them up in case the relays drop them.
I'd like to not have to manage a relay myself but could imagine to pay existing relays for hosting these events as most users will not be primarily nostr users aware of the infrastructure.

In Chile, bank transactions are instant. Why is it that I can spend received funds instantly but my bank still sorts transactions per day in increasing order of value? So lets say my balance was zero, I get 10 and send 10. My online bank statement reads this as me overdrawing my account by 10 before neutralizing it. And if I get 10 spend 10 for 5 times, it shows my balance go down to -50.
Now if any actual Chilean contadores are listening ... I actually wouldn't mind switching.

Vitamin D is such a safe stuff to take in a huge range of dosages and so hard to judge if it works in the moment that I won't take my chances. I'll stay on that stuff for life ;)
When covid started, I learned about vitamin D. I take it in high dose every day since. I was never so unaffected by colds as in those almost four years now. A sniffle from time to time, yes. Not one fever since.

Unpopular opinion: I want algorithms!
So on Xitter, I "like" stuff, not only to give the other guy a cue but also to train the algorithm to give me more of this. But maybe that is the wrong approach, as the feed might get saturated easily with stuff I "like" while never seeing stuff I might *also* like but never got to see because of the deluge of likable stuff.
On Nostr, clearly we want to be in control of the algorithm but so far, that is very rudimentary. It's only these options:
* Posts from follows
* Posts and replies from follows
* Stuff that does not take me into account (a relay's feed, trending posts, popular people, ...)
Ultimately I want some LLM to read the fire hose and show me what I most likely find relevant but without some Sam Altman learning my preferences or pushing his agenda on me.
Until we figure that out, what can we do with likes and replies? How do we find for each user the posts that are pushing the comfort zone but aren't too far out there? #coffeechain and GM is all good but nobody wants exclusively those.
Chat-GPT is useful for programming and many things but damn does it derail the conversation if it smells anything remotely controversial.
