I had to reboot my PC because the nos2x-fox plugin was busy opening popups. Issue filed with nos2x-fox and plebeian.
So in the video, olive and avocado oil also get promoted as the healthy alternatives while somebody says that omega 6 detox takes years. That sounds inconsistent to me. If even a supposedly healthy diet contains substantial amounts of omega 6, how could it be that bad or take that long to undo taking more before?
It's pathetic. The characters act like aliens trying on human emotions at times. Nothing consistent to how humans act.
You're ok? Sounds quite depressed. Glad I found this is a song lyric ;)

With the recent spike in Liquid #bitcoin usage we managed to give you a rare glimpse inside Blockstream HQ with nostr:npub1qg8j6gdwpxlntlxlkew7eu283wzx7hmj32esch42hntdpqdgrslqv024kw

Love it! And no, I don't love L-BTC. Watch to the end! :)
This is all a huge mess actually. Android got much better controlling these permissions, including to regularly restrict them for apps not used but still ... I like sharing my location with friends and family and the only tool that really works for that is WhatsApp. But I do not like to share my location with Facebook but even if the messages are (supposedly) end-to-end encrypted, I'm pretty sure the location ends up on servers or ... what do I know? How can I know?
Even if I figure it out, how would that scale? 95% of people couldn't care less if their phone broadcasted their location 24/7. They would get angry for a second and share a rant but then continue accepting it.
Now there you see something about a third party ... this is information that you would not get if the provider of the product wouldn't tell you. I assume that any data leaving my device gets into the wrong hands eventually. If not by standard procedure then it still can get there through hacks or the DB admin selling it.
It's currently the best client in the desktop browser.
... looking at this picture I can't help but also mention how ridiculous this scene is. So this oil tanker comes floating in like an air mattress. Like it was built from balsa wood and without cargo, reaching a meter under the line of water.
Here's a picture of such a ship actually being empty, floating as high as they ever float, still with many meters of ship under the line of water.

So Netflix showed me ads for this new movie like 20 times and as I like dooms day movies, I fell for it.
None of the characters acts like an actual human being. It's really hard to get into a movie when all the characters act like aliens clumsily trying on some human emotions from time to time.

"Each and every miner" will never be on board to stop censorship. I guess, censorship will be state-sponsored and many registered mining pools will take this extra money happily.
Please elaborate. Governments will be less relevant in a hyper-bitcoinized world. Why do they have to get involved in Bitcoin development?
It's not slavery if you can opt out. Don't blame Uber. If they would pay better, you would have fewer trips.
Ok, blame them if they suggested you could make a decent salary with this but it's still not slavery. False advertisement maybe.
Don't give them ideas. Do you really want the government involved in the furthering Bitcoin's development?
That was for 26h of work. $20/h, using your own car, fuel, ... hard to scale up to earn $5k / month.
The article postulates that a screen only protects against an address being swapped between the companion app and the hardware wallet. I don't see a discussion of the companion app being compromised, which is one of the scenarios a hardware wallet is supposed to protect against. After all, if the companion app cannot be compromised, why use a hardware wallet in the first place?
At WalletScrutiny.com, we tag products without a screen as "No interface to authorize transactions". The following attack is possible with all such devices. While the presence of an input device like a button or a fingerprint sensor can help to raise suspicions, NFC cards without a button can be attacked almost completely undetectable.
Let's say the release manager of the companion app gets under duress and forced to steal all the funds of all the users. He could change the companion app such that the first signing of a transaction is not shown on the companion app screen so the unsuspecting user presses that sign button again - we all know how NFC doesn't always work on the first try.
The first transaction is "pay that coffee". The second transaction is "send all the rest from all accounts to this address, please. And don't worry about any spending limits.".
The first transaction gets broadcast. The second transaction gets phoned home to the attacker but else disregarded on the app.
Now the attacker can collect valid transactions that wipe balances until somebody realizes what's going on. The attacker would simply wait for funds "under management" reaching some maximum at which point he sends all these transactions to the blockchain.
> Breaking a massive wallet privacy tool
What are you talking about? If one block in 100 does not include their transactions, it's not breaking their tool.
By what metric is it "massive"?
The solution to miner centralization is not one pool that does it right, so all can mine at that pool. It's more pools and ideally also ones that do it right.
In my book, any pool that has low switching cost is great as it allows miners to direct their hashes at a different pool quickly should problems arise. If banning wizard pics and the associated lower rewards is not perceived as a problem, let them mine at OCEAN.
You talk like Bitcoin was a permissioned blockchain with OCEAN being the only pool. If you don't like what he's doing, start your own pool.
It's not censorship if there are alternatives.
The "Owns What" in your analogy has me confused. Money is potential to receive what but it's not about the "what" yet. Its power is the optionality. If you replace the "What" with "How Much" as in
Money = Who Owns How Much
Credit = Who Owes How Much To Whom
I'd be more satisfied but I would reduce it to
Money = Who is owed
Credit = Who is owed By Whom
If that latter "Whom" can will into existence credit at no cost, you have slavery.
