This is a very accomplished, self-made man who built an extremely successful insurance business from the ground up!

I guess the building being on fire isn’t enough for most people to see it. They are going to need it to burn to the ground to start feeling concerned 😓

Migrated to Volcano Brewing Co on beach. Having an awesome down day between activities. Tomorrow is spearfishing and then I head down to #nostrica area to join in.

Our storage unit was broken into last night. We live in a suburban “safe” area and the facility has 2 sets of gates to go through, plus a finger pad to enter the building. Surveillance video shows three masked intruders wearing all black. All they got were boxes of clothing and knick knacks, but this reinforces my feeling that things are breaking down.

Oh yes, the sound waves are low, some we can't hear (they use it for themselves), and other very high and noisy for territory marking to other animals. They are awesome (not if you like to sleep after 5:30 am though 😆)

I am finding it very pleasant to wake up around 5:30 each day as the sun rises. The daily pace here is just about perfect. Will return 💯

They (monkeys) didn’t start until a while after I was up and drinking coffee. So all good, just another wonderful day encountering nature here in CR.

For those visiting CR and whom enjoy neat scotch, I found that this rum is a very good substitute. Not cheap (29,000 colones) but much better than higher price scotch that is nowhere as enjoyable.

The concept of liquor licenses makes no sense to me.

Besides state revenue, what’s the societal benefit in forcing an establishment to acquire a permit to sell alcohol?

Any other illegal action, like selling to minors, is already illegal and some paper printout doesn’t change that
