You could also smol brain it.. each npub has its own time expiry, the 'hot keys' are short, then the ones you want to cold store, don't even touch the internet till they're up for bat, with like a year expiry or something.. and when those go hot, you add a few more cold ones.

You can't add cold ones. How are they authenticated? Will a new cold key be signed by a previous older one? If the previous older one expires so do all the keys signed by it, transitively.

Musk alleged in a post on X that the EU commission had offered him a secret deal if they quietly censored speech (al la Twitter 1.0).

"The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us.

"The other platforms accepted that deal.

"𝕏 did not."

Mike Benz, a former Trump administration official, highlighted this to suggest the EU’s real motivation is to “use the DSA to force X to restaff the censorship squad fired when Elon took over.”

He further alleged that people who present themselves as researchers are actually “censorship activities & political operatives.”

Musk reposted Benz’s analysis with just one word of comment:

“Exactly.”

Whoa.

Bitcoin developers and Bitcoin influencers are not much different from the rest of the people, you have to assume that they are mostly corrupt.

So apparently the European Honeybee has recently been named Virginia's official state pollinator. This steams me so bad. Honeybees are NOT native to Virginia, and the fact that so many people import them to grow colonies and have their own honey actually crowds out native bees that mostly feed on native plants. I'm still not sure how this happened, as the European Honeybee is widely considered an invasive species.
