In the quantity we have today. Yes.
On a time line of human existence we simply would not as a species had access to "sugar" in large amounts, obviously varies annually andby regions. Sugar in any meaningful amount can only be a recent phenomena and so i'd be surprised if it was a basis for good health long term and across populations🤷♀️

Actually...I lied...one slightly larger (for me) lightning tx failed...but other than that 🙂
No problems for me, works well🤷♀️
I could still over eat with carnivore (mmm ribeyes) and so found for me that calories do matter. For me carnivore was also difficult in the family setting with others on a more normal diet.
Yes. Salt everywhere! I'm not super strict carnivore so I have coffee. Salt in coffee is great 👍
I remember an interesting essay by someone who has massive gastric bypass surgery and he experimented on what actually got passed the stomach....needless to say beef etc almost fully absorbed, fibre - not so much. Think his name was wolverine or similar🤔
