This is the hidden cost of convenience: when you outsource your infrastructure, you outsource your sovereignty. Centralization always ends in fragility.

If one failure can silence a global chorus of apps, maybe it’s time to rethink who holds the switch — and whether we should all be plugged into the same socket.

Decentralization isn’t ideology. It’s risk management for a world where even the sky can crash.

⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Arizona passes 'Bitcoin Reserve' bill HB2324.

The bill creates a reserve for assets obtained through criminal asset forfeiture.

If signed by Governor Hobbs, it will be the state's second second reserve bill passed into law.

Nostr's stats have been trending down for the last 6 months, obviously not a great thing.

Despite all of its bugs and other flaws, I'm still a bit surprised by this trend. I feel like, for various reasons, discourse on X is just so much more commercial and fake these days. Nostr has a lot of genuine conversations happening and our (PPQ's) engagement on nostr is MUCH better on nostr than it is over on X.
