Behavioral psychology and other stuff.

I love Pop!_OS, but I miss Manjaro. #linux

Life won't teach you obedience to the state. That's what schools are for.

Part 3 of my "Why you should keep a diary series" is now on habla.news

Summary: Some self-insights can't be deduced through introspection in the armchair. They can only be discovered through observation while acting in the world. One thing you might discover through self-recording is that you are more versatile than you thought.

So the explanation for my note yesterday would be that – at that very moment – the clients were not connected to any of the same relays? And there is no syncing later? Because again, I'm having no issues seeing this thread in both clients now.

I'm aware. From I can tell though by alternating clients in this conversation, I can see posts from both from Primal and Amethyst just fine. It seems to be just that single post I made yesterday that is only shown on Primal.

The strange thing is that I posted the above using Amethyst. And that did appear on Primal. Wouldn't it go both ways if the relays are different?

Trying #asknostr Posted using Primal yesterday. Still can't see it on Amethyst or Iris. They can't be on entirely separate relays, right? Should I try re-posting, or do something else?

My YouTube account got nuked after posting a video on how to memorize passwords. No warnings. No explanations. Must have been a really offensive video.

This makes way more sense to me than the hippi attitude that we have to go back to the stone age in order to be free.

To generate a secure bitcoin key, you need a good source of entropy. I've come across a few tutorials on this claiming that humans are bad at randomness. It's probably safer to assume this and rely on more established methods for key generation.

That said, the claim that human behavior can never be a good source of entropy is inaccurate. If I ask you to alternate between two buttons randomly, you are unlikely to succeed. But, plenty of research have demonstrated that with proper training, you can get really good at it. Randomness can be taught.

Spending and replacing is less of an option for those trying to accumulate no-KYC bitcoin. It increases the friction and risks to privacy.

I'll now be posting my long-form content on habla.news , including my "Why you should keep a diary" series. Condensed versions, summaries, and that kind of stuff will be end up here. The ease with which I could just get on habla.news and post with the same 'user' is insane. #grownostr
