anyone who thinks socialist money substitutes are any good and on the same page talk about bitcoin are hilarious

the central banks, and tech companies now also, are herding people into mental prisons by manipulating their access to the market via money and AI filters

anything that they do has to be assumed to be evil, and anyone who doesn't recognise that is a patsy

i have been pretty persistent with problems and choosing clients that seem to function best - coracle and primal are my go-tos and i don't use mobile at all, and anyhow, because i'm building nostr stuff i use it even sometimes just to talk about my work and test my relay

but i think overall the standard of reliability of clients and relays is still in the early beta phase... still so many wonky, quirky things, insecure, buggy clients and relays...

i personally tried to use amethyst on my motorola G51 running android 12 and my last attempt it was rejecting my valid nsec - so then i installed plebstr and then after that again decided that using it on mobile was not a good idea

and i quit using social media altogether 3 months ago, it was almost a whole month before i came back to nostr after about a month on it last year

you will not regret to stop posting, or even just reading that trash on Xitter and the rest, once you get used to it

i follow some news sites that are generally decent but that's it for my contact with the media... it's just not good for your mental health

ah ok so they are like "truffles" if they are grown on cooconut

i have probably got relatively easy access to cow, goat and sheep dung... is the grain really required? i imagine it feeds a lot of malts though, and almost every microorganism grows on it

i'm waiting to see where ark goes

source routing makes lightning brittle

side chains are not in the same category as lightning, which uses game theory and commitments to maintain low trust requirement - it's only one risk at a time per channel you run, not risking a whole stack on one network that you aren't a validator on

All is left is to convert Mike to become a coal maxi 🪨🔥

i'm an antimatter maxi

there's a whole universe of energy we can tap into if we understand the math of it, and build devices that tune in

yeah especially if you have a nice vintage quality rig to brew coffees inside it!

only needs to be a pavilion so yeah

honestly it would probably be half calcium silicate concrete but that's ok

you can do amazing things with hemp fibre too, if you want to add a little of that... it gives it incredible crack resistance

FYI, my only sin is zerohedge

and i see way more xitter content on there than i would actually want to really, so i'm not that indulgent... once a day i doomscroll to see if anything new is happening other than more doom

*sigh*

the message should not just have a challenge but a challenge pubkey, and then the response can be encrypted, and it can be done over a proxy

TLS has been broken several times before, it's not immune to various kinds of MITM and side channel attacks, and enabling proxy relays opens up a heap of options for relay services

shifting the goalposts

you said NOSTR ONLY like a month ago, you didn't say

POSTING ON NOSTR ONLY

no, i want to change the nip42 because i think it's an irrelevant feature and constriction of the thing and i have been dreaming of nostr proxies since like 3 months

so i don't know why you are saying this is a bad thing

do you have a reason based on cryptography and network security theory why it's important to send a challenge and then require that be constrained by some arbitrary government registered address?

Am I the only one who is just a wee bit suspect about all of this?

yeah, billy's covert ops team have been busy

probably they are a bunch of brainwashed ninny pyros even, with a very careful handler, and probably there is hundreds of them all over the country ready to destroy the competition
