definitely gonna check that out... for sure yohimbe helps with the muscles, i suspect amylose clogs things up because my grandma died from alzheimers, and the neglect at the nursing homes... and i strongly suspect in my genetics we have coding for resolving high blood sugar by chaining it into amylose, which then clogs up and disrupts nerve transmission especially in the mid brain... i thought i had wernicke-korsakoff at one point because of double vision but yes that's a diabetes symptom too, and this is probably why

i tried yohimbe because i found a study that showed that it increased amylase in the tissue in general and i thought "well, if i have amylose clogging things up then this might help clear it up and get it back as glucose and then maybe it can burn"

well, that's part of it, and then you have to actually prompt the use or elimination of the glucose which is where the alcohol and red fruits come in

i was way worse 6 months ago.... the milk diet turned things around and now i understand what is going on i need to push that to the side and cut the sugars out entirely, and anything that helps my body drive sugar metabolism up or improve fat conversion to glycogen is a win... for bonus points, improve neurotransmission in general

yeah, i am on that diabetic cusp, i mean, basically drowning in it now... i get tinnitis, low energy, muscle weakness, cramps, persistent infections... it's basically made it impossible for me to stop drinking but the only type of alcohol that is really ok anymore is dry red wine, spirits are just the ethanol mainly, which has some benefit, but the red grape skins have all kinds of chemicals that assist with sugar metabolism

and yeah, i have had to basically ditch all carbs more or less... no more potatoes at all... beer is out... i have been drinking milk but low fat milk is too much sugars still, though it is far less bad than any other form of simple sugar

i should also add that yohimbe has greatly helped with the cramps and muscle weakness... today i didn't have any as i usually do first thing in the morning and by midday my toes were going spaz again

also, my mother gets these cramps, she reports that if she drinks 2L of water a day she is ok but that's very high water intake if you are eating food with water in it IMO... seems that probably weak sugar metabolism is weak on both sides of my family, my father's bloodline comes through the austro/indonesian and as a kid he was harassed at school for looking like an aboriginal... really doesn't but i can assume that his mother's grandfather or something was a new guinea highlander and they did not eat any sugar or starches

caffeine increases the production of enzymes that convert fats into glucose and alcohol increases insulin response, so i figure it probably warms everything up a bit too, possibly helps clear the stroke through some parts of that mechanism
