My broad #goals to the near future:

1️⃣ Increase my #privacy

Lack of privacy can lead to accurate profile of a person, that could be used to control him/her to buy more, or to do what the controller wants.

2️⃣ Increase my #productivity with running an #AI locally

I think AIs can be quite cool, but they can also pose a privacy risk. Running open source models locally can give you the power of an AI without sharing any data with a third party.

3️⃣ Build a new source of income

Having multiple source of income can increase one's freedom, because you won't depend on 1 primary income.

4️⃣ Spread #lightning and #bitcoin adoption

So I can store, save and spend in bitcoin to live on a bitcoin standard. So I don't have to convert back to fiat for spending, and I can have a higher degree of freedom.

And how do people get sats to begin with? Please don't say "by posting good content that gets them zaps".

Agreed. Not only that, but anything Bitcoin-related it clearly repulses a huge chunk of potential users. That's the reality of it, and it may be a deal breaker for many of the Nostr leader devs, in the sense that they may have to make a decision to simply give up and ignore the anti-bitcoin segment of the market.

Holy shit! I looked into it, and yeah. Well I guess I must stop considering myself a libertarian because I believe that property rights are sacrosanct and the basis of a civil society.

It was a discussion of Intellectual Property. It was shocking to me to find people on Nostr that don't believe in the property rights of inventors, writers, artist, and other creators. The characters I was talking to considere themselves libertarian (Agorist) and where advocating that stealing the ideas and IP of others is perfectly fine; it was bizzare.

As a terminally online male you meet the perfect woman (smol, autistic, religious) at least once a year and she always lives in some impossible location, like Brazil, or Israel, or England.
