I think that's a fair statement, because social media of any stripe takes you away from what's 'real.'

But even so, there is more value and goodwill on nostr than any other social media trough out there, and I feel like that's where people are coming from when they opine about the dumpsterfire that is X.

The finest example of entrenched generational hatred between two peoples often provokes accusations that religion is to blame.

But if you look deeper, you will see the issue of property rights at the heart of it.

I tried to read the mandibles and couldn't get through it. It's too grim. Prescient, from the few chapters I did read, but godamn it's dark.

Three Body Problem is not a depressing read IMO although there are sections that are dark, like snippets of the cultural revolution.

I haven't read 2 of these, but the Three Body Problem is a vividly written and interesting sci fi novel. The language is exceptionally colorful and striking, probably because it's translated but I would definitely recommend it.

I'll be totally honest, I don't have much to contribute here. I'm not a coder, a builder, or an entrepreneur. I'm certainly no leader.

I don't have a newsletter or service to shill. I don't have any unique insights into politics, economics, Bitcoin, or Nostr that hasn't already been repeated as nauseum.

I'm just a guy who stumbled into all of this and was made a better person through the process.

Nostr is for builders, it it's also lurkers to plug directly into the signal, to help us stay humble.

It's out there, just roll with it and don't overthink. The rest of your identity is likely floating around the dark web or on a govt list anyway 🀷

I try to make sure they get the better of whatever options are available.

For example, when I cook dinner, I always give my wife the plate that isn't chipped. The steak that got the slightly better sear, etc.

My experience has been not as drastic, but I do use a similar approach and am seeing a gratifying level of results

- strict sleep schedule

- regular sun exposure, but not maxing

- cycling DHEA to keep cortisol levels manageable

- Testosterone higher from avoiding endocrine disruptors in food and synthetic materials

- supplementing magnesium, and cycling Glycine

- Focusing more on recovery (in early 40s, recovery is much slower), and strict calory intake - 10% higher than maintenance during bulking, 20% lower than maintenance during cuts.

- Training is medium intensity, low volume.

If I were to guess, just based on my own experience your results are probably a synthesis of all of the different factors you are controlling for. I'd guess your training regimen, recovery strategy, and calory intake are the lion's share, with everything else playing a supporting role.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Memorize a 12 word seed so that in the event you need to flee your home you can keep your wealth with you and hidden.

If global war goes so far that we've completely lost the internet globally, I'd say Bitcoin is the last thing anyone should be worried about.

Focus on what you can control, what you can mitigate by planning and preparation. Don't sweat the rest of it.
