I don't trust him any more than I trust anyone else on the internet. I learned the hard way years ago not to trust product recommendations in this space from ANYONE. At the end of the day you have to DYOR and take responsibility for your own decisions.
I don't think he's leading anyone to slaughter. I think there are too many lemmings following him and others blindly as a mental shortcut, and that's inherently dangerous.

I skew pretty heavily towards the risk-averse and if I were in a similar situation I would probably opt for getting a job (Bitcoin or elsewhere) and plan to be there long enough for the other endeavor to start bearing fruit.
This way protects your stack for potentially another cycle, gives you a step back from what you are doing so that when you return you'll have a fresh set of eyes and renewed energy.
Just my two sats, it's hard to give advice for these things because there are so many variables that are unknown.
It took me a few years of panic stacking until I realized this. Life is better when you are intentional about where you spend your money, it's not always about saving.

2a rights are literally infringed by every US jurisdiction in some form or another. It's not any more magical or politician proof than any of the other 'rights' that we cede to them daily.
The gov can and will conjure exceptions to amendments at will and enforce them to make examples even knowing that the law will *eventually, maybe* be stricken down.

They are going to run off-books accounting to do laundering. Maybe even utilize things like Bitcoin + privacy tools which would be painfully ironic.
In other words, it's just another layer of 'rules for thee' and they will continue to use traditional laundering tools like war or foreign aid, shell organizations and other tricks.
They don't even need to hide their activity very deep. Media is in their pocket, and most are asleep. As long as it isn't blatant they can continue their grift.
