It seems like even the youtube tech reviewers are coming to the conclusion that a lot of other people are, Nvidia card are overpriced as fuck.
I'm probably going to be avoiding Nvidia as much as I can with any upgrade paths or new builds, AMD and Intel Arc cards seem like perfectly fine alternatives. I'm finding Intel cards particularly attractive because of the price and they seem way more reasonable mid-range cards than even the AMD.
It's just something to think about considering the current market.

Getting lots of RL stuff out of the way now so I can focus way more, I think I'm getting a better feel for my hand workflow when dealing with a full human model. There's a perfectly valid workflow other artists use where they have a separate hand model but I like this simpler method.
You can always add more polygons as necessary and you know for a fact you won't be making any mistakes on the topology for the rest of the model.
I've been pondering about whether or not it would be worth it to pay for a streaming site for anime especially if I go abroad because I've been thinking a lot about a portable setup these days. I find it remarkable that people regard the damn comments page of all things as a 'feature'.
Comments pages on video content are cancer at the best of times and even as an end user I can see why companies want to get rid of them these days. When I want to watch a video I don't want to see a spam of brainless chatter at the bottom of the page and if I wanted a running commentary on everything going on in the video I would just invite family members over to watch but I find that sort of thing incredibly annoying.
That's nothing to say of the bots and general spam that often floods the comments pages generally especially on youtube when the video gets more than 2000 views. Bring back proper fan forums and community sites for that sort of thing where we can take proper measures against bots and people can sperg out as much as they like without ruining the viewing experience on the UI.
