To answer that question you must discover to what relays your updated metadata event was published, so the starting point of the investigation would be the client that you used to change it.
Then you must check the Wikifreedia source code to discover how and where it is fetching metadata from.
Using https://github.com/fiatjaf/nak to query purplepag.es and relay.nostr.band, for example, to see what metadata event they have, could give you some insight on what is going on.
Good luck!
Shilling your own github eh? This isn't a fucking treasure hunt. It's a broken client.
And regardless of my "investigation" it doesn't change the fact that #wikifreedia isn't respecting other relays. it's not my job to do an investigation, it's the dev's responsibility to make a product that meets basic standards.
what a most unhelpful comment
people should stay away from wikifreedia untill it respects basic nips.
also notice how wikistr just pulls from the wikifreedia relay...🤦🏻♂️
bruh you can't edit a profile on wikistr either lol
Notice how I said, "It doesn't look like the relay is respecting profile changes elsewhere." This means I have tried to change my profile on five different clients and it's not being reflected in wikifreedia
please say that in your native language
it doesn't make any sense in English
some people are born dumb
others are on social media too much
poltically, no duh, that's kinda the fricking point. a meal also rarely ends the way it started.
tf are you trying to tell us?
