Supposedly graphene is encrypted - but I wouldn't know how to verify this. I don't care if they copy a bunch of encrypted junk. I'll even load it up with movies that they'll have to save forever in hopes of decrypting.
Yeah I just made a note asking for that specifically. I'll link to it here. Decoy definitely would be better than brick.
#grapheneos help me out...
I set up a new user profile with a new PIN. I was thinking this could work better than using the duress PIN, because I'd prefer a decoy to a total wipe, and because state thugs can say you're obstructing something if you do a wipe.
The problem is, I don't see a way to simply input the alternate PIN and load into the other profile seemlessly. It wants me to end the session to go back to owner profile, at which point the only way back to the decoy is to unlock the device and re-enable it. This wouldn't even work very well if I actually had multiple users on this device. I want to have one unlock screen, which loads different profiles if I enter different PINs, with no indication that its doing anything differently.
Is there a way?
Is it better than having a decoy profile and pin?
I did that some in China too.
I looooooooove avocado
That's my favorite so far
The Muslim thing is a side show, at least for me. I also have the luxury of not being in the UK... or British at all. It could be any group - the point is, the UK government sees people in general as a threat, and in particular it sees native British as a threat. That's why they created all the minority groups in the first place. I'm not against any particular group, and I'm okay with people moving around, but the problem is that it is being done on purpose. Muslim countries are being destabilized on purpose. Muslims should be on Tommy's side, at least in this limited issue, that the government should not be destroying their countries and then importing them by the millions like some kind of commodity. And the same is true for all western countries. The US government does it to Latin America.
Are there options for would-be teachers who don't want to work for the government?
Homeschooling might accomplish both goals
Wait.. Wat? These things go for a whole bitcoin?
OoOoh I like the multicolored wax seal with a rose emblem... But I don't need the thingy.
I think he's great. He doesn't have to be perfect - he's serving a function and I hope he can do it more and more in the future. On the one hand, he's raising British self consciousness, and that self analysis is necessary to avoid unconsciously walking off a cliff. On the other hand, he's exposing a morally corrupted system by making himself a target. A strong and virtuous system wouldn't fear criticism or falsities, if what he says actually is false. A system that doesn't prey upon the citizenry would have the citizenry's support, so any level of falsehood could be tolerated. Only a system which fears the people - and fear comes after hatred - could imprison him for speech or opinions.
Actually, last time I tried, it didn't work... So I'm no better. But when it has worked, I just googled "how to ssh" and it autogenerated an answer at the top of the page.
I already closed the tabs I was reading about it, but they said the file has to be in a certain location. So I guess find that location, ssh in, and stick it there
I'd bet the newest pi could do it okayish. My older pi is struggling.
Yeah I could read it. My difference in understanding is simply this : the symbolic is rational. To call a thing symbolic is not to lower it in any way - the opposite, actually. Matter has no meaning all by itself. It takes human understanding to see meaning, which means that symbolism is the primary reality we inhabit. Everything is symbolic, no matter how much anyone tries to pretend that it isn't.
It seemed like the reformers contradicted themselves by saying the bread and wine are just matter but simultaneously saying they're symbolic. All things are symbolic. Matter may be matter, but before matter can be a thing, it must be a symbol, conform to a symbol commonly held. The symbol sits between your comprehension and the real thing - such that no one has ever seen any real things. Only symbols.
But likewise, the earthly church seems to have invented some nonsense... The first of the three numbered paragraphs says that Jesus spoke symbolically, then says that this particular part isn't symbolic simply because Jesus didn't say its symbolic. He never said anything was symbolic, as far as I can recall. What about the part where he fed the crowd with bread and fish, then had his disciples collect the crumbs, asked how many baskets were left over, and they said seven, and he responds with (something like), "don't you understand?" I'm not sure what the symbolism was, but it was obviously symbolic.
I'm not saying the material happening didn't happen. This is the problem with these discussions : people understand by reduction, when they should understand by expansion. I think the material event did occur. But I also think the symbolic event is the thing of primary importance.
So anyways... Eucharist. It also seems like its supposed to be any time people eat together, not a big religious event. I don't think God actually likes religion, tbh.
Tariffs make soooo much more sense than income tax. We have more money to buy stuff, so either we support more businesses or we import more stuff, which means more money for government. Probably both.
