i know that this purr/meow thing is a characteristic sound of mother and kittens talking to each other
he is quite young, i may overestimate his age, perhaps he is 7 months old... when i look at who i suspect is daddy, he is YUGE in comparison, like easily double dimensions in every direction
he does this thing which is hard to catch him at, he just sits there and pretends to be awake but actually his eyes keep getting more closed and his head slowly drops and he's falling asleep
i think this is probably normal for a semi-wild cat, i'm sure with time he will start to feel safe enough in this space to sleep like a normal house cat, for now, it's just this hilarious sphinx guarding his self and chirping at you like you are mommy... which is gorgeous, i'm kinda lucky in a way because kittens that have early conditioning to humans make a mess of the house and scratch up everything, this one he is ridiculously well mannered
