#NTS is probably the best #music #radio station in the #world.
I don't really understand the question.
I'm sure there are very good uses of drones, but for most people outside the USA it's still pretty easy to buy from our nearby farms.
Our local farm is about a mile up the road. I can't see how anything is more sustainable that buying from them and bringing it home.
I realise the USA is unique. You have massive farms in the middle of nowhere. In that situation drones may well be an improvment.
I don't know if it means very much at all, because we crossed that bridge a long time ago. When we used physical tokens for #currency we only used energy once, but ever since we've had electronic payments, we've had this problem, long before bitcoin.
I remember seeing some arithmetic once showing that the biggest issues are exchanges, that run 24/7. It doesn't matter if they're #trading #BTC or #stocks, they're still wasting resources.
So in a sense this is a problem, but it's much older than #crypto
Is that irrespective of the client you're using?
I guess I should know what GM means? You probably should have let us old people in. We're just gonna ruin everything :)
That might excuse my misunderstanding. Geoblockimg is the pits.
That's an interesting idea. I've never tried using a pwa wallet on mobile.
I don't think they'd need a bank account.
Certainly in the UK, you send btc to the address that pops up on the screen and it throws out cash.
In the UK, the options I've seen are for pounds dollars and euros. I think that's the norm.
It usually dispenses dollars, euros and whatever the local currency is. I think.
The main issue is the cut they take, which varies between 5% and 10%. It's certainly worth considering as a last resort.
In that case I did misunderstand what you meant.
I honestly think a lot of activists relied far too much on Twitter. It was always soapbox on someone else's lawn. It didn't matter how welcoming the owner was, he was always going to sell at the right price.
I realise this will make me sound old, but Twitter was never really a shortcut for real campaigning. People still need local groups, to meet in person and actually get to know each other. That's the only way.
It's boring and it takes time, but real change will always be like that. Some problems have no technological solutions.
What about a bit of lateral thinking?
Could the recipient not use a bitcoin ATM?
You might want to look at
I'm sure there are more.
It sounds like you need a replacement for https://localbitcoins.com/
Of course they've closed but there must be something similar
I'm not quite sure what you mean. How will the conversion take place if the recipient doesn't have a bank account? I assume, from your comments, using an anonymous stablecoin like Haven isn't an option?
Why not just use #Bisq?
I'd guess it shows the concentration of something; but what? I have no clue!
