Cheap Bitcoin is good for bitcoiners. We should be happy for grayscale and Mt gox selling. I hope we see sub 10k Bitcoin again. If you liked free, decentralized, censor and seizure resistant fuck you money at 48k you should love it at 30k and be all over it at 20 or 10k. We should celebrate the red candles. Especially when you have people being "bullish" with real rationality other than hopium. I mean, Bitcoin should appreciate in line with debasement of fiat and that structurally seems inevitable so on a long enough time frame (1, 5, 10 years?), yes, NGU, but there is no guarantee that will be in 24 or even 25 or 26 so anyone looking for a get rich quick play is going to be sorely disappointed. Also, even those that buy and HODL will get REKT eventually unless they acquire and use Bitcoin in a private manner. Do not buy from KYC exchanges that put you on a list for governments.

People work longer for less. In Japan there is a culture of sa-bisu zangyou. People especially in small business / "black" companies, subsidiaries of larger companies are put under pressure to reduce cost and meet aggressive deadlines which leads to a culture of people staying late in the office and not getting paid for it. Bonuses are promised but often not delivered and people are just expected to suck it up and take one for the team.

I want to love System76 but their hardware is straight up garbage. A real shame since their marketing is good, System76 polished, and their support is very good. It's not like their machines are cheap. The Thelios are probably much better since they make those themselves but the laptops are OEMd from Clevo(?) And I've never known anyone not to have some kind of problem with them.
Exactly. ETF is antithetical to Bitcoin. I suppose the mid to long term game theory says we'll have a chain split of sovereign Bitcoin vs ETF coin. The ETF coin will likely move to PoS. I guess it may be the "last boss" in that the sovereign coin will likely lose purchasing power in the short to mid term given the economic firepower that will be deployed against it. This might be something that takes decades to fully play out. But ultimately I can't see there being a future for ETF coin. The entire (and only?) point of Bitcoin is to escape those fiat paper games.
I hope never. I would like at least one self custodial LN mobile wallet and I think splicing with Phoenix is a good way to solve the liquidity /channel management issue for those willing to pay fees for the user experience
