Did you hear the speech?
The relation between the sales clerk and the boss is voluntary, the relation between anyone and the state is not
If ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it, then knowledge of the law is no excuse for following it
Oh? Client wallets do that? Could you not connect to random nostr servers if you wanted to?
This is what works. Bitcoin is the same, SimpleX is the same. Nothing prevents you from running a relay, but the two functions should be logically separated ... and there should be client-only apps for use on smaller/older hardware or hardware that may not be always on
... and simpleX... was amazed when I read the protocol description
"How do you know you're not using a CBDC already?"

I want to send notes only to a particular list ... and obviously make my own lists ...

A lot
Venezia è quasi perfetta per Bitcoin, tanti stranieri
Decentralized... lol
Ah, you're right. It uses onion routing over the loki network. I wasn't remembering that onion routing could be over something other than Tor
... I guess the only thing I want that I didn't see, but should be possible with such a system, is the ability to have distributed websites ... like retroshare or zeronet
Session is better in the sense that it doesn't require a phone number (it uses public/private keys afaik) and it routes messages over Tor.
Not using phone numbers is great, but routing over Tor is a bit performance hit.
Briar is interesting because it can work via bluetooth.
