You know how you can't delete stuff on nostr (kind of have mixed feelings about this but anyway...) but you can delete on twitter.

Could you make some sort of service that saves a post from twitter on nostr, and puts the note link below it on twitter?

Also have mixed feelings about this cos sometimes the deleted posts will be just some spicy statement by a normal person who doesn't want to lose their job. But I'm thinking more along the lines of people in authority backtracking or whatnot. Or simply to preserve gold posts and gem ls from accounts that keep getting suspended.

Would also be some sort of advertising for nostr.

But again, I'm not sure that this is such a great feature of nostr tbh for aforementioned reason. (Why have a system that makes it so easy for someone to dig thru your posts and get you in trouble?)

Basically, we could give non-superuser ssh access to one of the security folks that we trust, so that they could at any time, ssh in and verify the logs are not being kept. Then they publish what they find periodically. Kind of like how companies do independent security audits.

Ok, just starting Gossip today and it starts fetching mentions and my notes are populating. I assume after that it'll continue with the main feed.

I did that, added several relays but it didn't fetch anything. I assume the first thing it will do is fetch my relay and follower lists and stuff, and goes from there on?
