I think a good solution is for NostrGram to convert any markup put into the notes created in it into normal text+links before submission to the relay. The only exception being italics and bold, which are very simple and I'll leave in.
I only have NostrGram supporting a limited amount of markup (link, image, bold, italic) so it shouldn't be difficult to "clean up" posts from users while still having NostrGram show the markup should a note come in from a relay that has it. Since nobody can control what goes into the relay, I don't want to mess up the user experience should markup appear that's beyond my control.

NostrGram doesn't send Nip57 zaps yet but counts them in the notes. Now that Alby supports Nip57 I'll be getting that integrated so the zaps sent via NostrGram will also show in other clients.
Yeah it seems obvious in hindsight that the name should have been Following+ from the start. 🤷
Just pushed a small update for NostrGram that changes "Friends+" to "Following+" (since that makes it more obvious what it is) and fixes some issues in the notifications feed. Now I need a nap lol. Got 5 hours of sleep and need 6-7. Don't want to be passing out on the podcast interview this evening with #[0]
NostrGram's limit is 100mb. Did you get an error when uploading?
That said, I just checked the app and it's showing the "View PDF Attachment" button but when it's clicked the browser isn't embedding the PDF. I noticed the same when I just use my phone's browser. You can click on the [ ] full screen icon and it will download the PDF, but I guess for security reasons it won't display it in the browser.

Following is just the people you follow. Friends+ (soon to be Following+) is the people you follow *plus* the people they follow. It's a better "Global" (which I believe is called "Universe" in Damus now) because it's built on a web of trust rather than just random people posting.
NostrGram isn't parsing clips or shorts atm. It's on my to-do list.
If you're not using a Nip07 browser extension then a Nostr client has to have your private key in order to sign events. I strongly recommend you use a Nip07 extension because it's more secure. Alby and Nos2x are two popular ones.
