Developer and electrical engineer. Survivor. Here for only good vibes.

Sorry Morgan, Trump yesterday painted a soccer mom as a terrorist after she got shot in the face by his agents. If you support him after this blatantly fascist display, you're not a person I want to know. Bye.

The first shot I almost wouldn't have blamed you for. Shots 2 and 3, through her driver's side window, were murder. Also refusing to allow aid. Also the immediate smear campaign by the entire federal government to label a soccer mom as a terrorist so they don't have to deal with "one bad apple".

Making Jeff Bezos: The Cantillon Effect

If we want to fight inequality, we need to understand the systemic mechanism that enables it. How did Bezos become the third richest man in the world?

I'm sorry mate, I gotta call foul on you likening personal freedoms to government power. A group of masked and unidentified men, likely with the weight of the Federal government behind them, tried to break into a woman's vehicle with no legal right to do so. When the woman tried to escape, with her movements CLEARLY demonstrating intent to leave, one masked man - instead of taking one step to the right - decided unilaterally to end the life of the unarmed and terrified woman, and will probably be given some sort of immunity from the repercussions.

It appears from this story that government power goes unchecked, and personal freedom means 1 bullet to the front of your skull and two more to the side.

I think that is exactly the point, just that they do come across it. They can do with it as they please, many would probably enjoy it, some would ignore... I think it's just one of those human things, we want to share pieces of ourselves, to connect, teach, inspire, even if it's something silly.

See, sometimes I think this, but then I become blessed with the spirit of 'tism and explain my lore to strangers for 2 hours. 🤷‍♂️ gl tho!

I had this problem too. The feed filter and the notification filter are separate, so you can select follows on your feed and global on your notifications.

Thanks man ✌️. I haven't come across any AI tools for PCB design but I'm sure they are out there. EDA software sometimes comes with some sort of layout assistance, but most often for the free software, it can only auto-route traces after you place the parts. (The auto-router is never to be trusted without oversight 😅).

I used EasyEDA for this one last year, seemed pretty full featured.

I had the same issue. Had it the first time I tried, then I futzed with the stream details and it worked for a while. Next time I went back to stream I was back at 0 sats and couldn't fund again.

We expected so much less than games back then. One or two core mechanics and a bunch of haphazard levels would keep us occupied for hours. Half the games released now need a wiki to figure out. 😂

I made a stim toy kit for a friend of a friend's nephew. He has ADHD and his autistic special interest is electronics. The coolest thing for me as a kid would have been having a circuit board with my name on it, so now he can learn while he populates the board, and he will have a toy to use at the end of it.

Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria is common in folks with ADHD, and it does make all sorts of relationships particularly difficult, even casual acquaintances.

I'm a fool for an N/A merlot, any brand. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the taste of the booze in there, but it still tastes great while sitting in the sun 👍

One of my favorites. A teaspoon of curry powder will turn it into something totally different, perhaps something to try some time 👍

I despise racism or any sort of bigotry whatsoever, BUT... I think they get a (very) slightly worse rap than they should. Of course, there is simple ignorance and the fact that they have fallen for fear-based propaganda, but they have a nugget of truth.

If the world continues the way it is going, traditional cultures will slowly disappear, along with skin colors. I'm a hard pragmatist with little use for tradition, and I don't care what color the people of the world are, but even I see that it might be nice to preserve some of that.

If we were conserving a savannah and the plains zebras kept mating with the Grant's zebras, I think it would be perfectly natural to want to at least encourage some of the animals to mate with their kind so that we don't lose the line altogether.

Taken with a heaping spoon of salt, I understand their fear.

I'm certain it's not a new tactic, but this habit of calling everything "national security" is pissing me off. It's just like Israel's "we are defending ourselves" bullshit... What makes it worse is I know it short circuits a lot of people's brains into thinking it's perfectly normal to take other people's stuff by force.

Someone on here suggested lasagna soup once and I haven't been able to get it out of my mind since.

Wait no, Marill's tail.

If you want the real answer to your question: It sounds right to you because it generally agrees with your worldview.

The truth is:

- plenty of people with vices are bad people

- plenty of people with vices are good people

- plenty of people without vices are bad people

- plenty of people without vices are good people

It sounds right because it feels good. That does not mean it is right.

Don't waste your time listening to memes tell you how to read the tea leaves so you know who the bad guys are. Just listen to the people in front of you every day and make your own decision.

Btcmap.org has 20,000 places that people can and do spend Bitcoin. There are many circular Bitcoin economies and communities. Anybody that thinks it isn't used as an MoE isn't really looking.
