Web of Trust scores coming soon to NostrGram. Note the green circle/value. Al visual suggestions welcome at this point.

⚡ is a good symbol for LN payments, not sats imo. Sats need their own symbol. I'm fine with whatever gets adopted ultimately, but I'm casting my vote for the sats symbol I'm showing in NG. 🤷

Hey, any plebs following me...

FYI, https://nostrgram.co/

...looks and feels pretty nice. I'm running it in Brave browser.

So far, it's the slickest nostr client I've used on my Macbook air.

Justs sayin' ...😉

LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK - WEB OF TRUST SCORE

I love the Following+ feed because it pulls from a "web of trust" (the people you follow plus the people *they* follow). It occurred to me that I could show a number that indicates how connected you are to other people that show up in your feed.

So, for instance, if you follow somebody the get a "web of trust" score of 1. Then, for each person you follow that also follows them, they get +0.1. So if you follow a profile and 10 people you follow do, too, their score is 2. If 100 people you follow also follow them their score would be 11, etc.

I'll display the value as a small overlay on the person's profile pic. This way you can get an instant idea of how connected you are to everyone else you see.

Thoughts?

I finally figured out what WoS is doing differently and how to get around it. They replied and passed it on to their team so hopefully it gets resolved, but for the time being it's working!

Filthy fiat USD value comparison is live in NostrGram. Refresh for the update. I greyed the USD value so it's not prominent. Useful for quick comparison rather than having to wait for the wallet to pop-up and show you. USD price is updated every hour.

Already done. Looks much better that way!

For those who seem concerned that I'm removing the sats from the ⚡ screen, I'm not! It just shows the USD value in small print below it for comparison purposes. Here's what it will look like:

It's still in sats. Just shows the value underneath.

I get it, but it's useful to see the current USD value in case the person you send the ⚡ to needs to use the funds immediately. Naturally in the future when #Bitcoin is the standard that will no longer be helpful.

Working on updating the ⚡ interface so you can see the current value in your currency or set how much you want to send based on your currency.
