Ok, so you clicked Extension, then it loaded your profile in the box and you clicked OK and it doesn't show your followers, correct? If you refresh the page does it show your icon in the upper-left?
Just pushed a small NostrGram update that fixes Light Mode on mobile. It wasn't working before, now it is.
Looked at the code. It was a simple fix. Just pushed an update so Light Mode works now on mobile.
Yeah if it saw the extension it would load your profile into the box above the red notice. If you're not seeing your profile in that box after you click Extension something else is wrong. What browser are you using?
No nothing has changed. Which extension are you using, and what error are you getting (if any)?
On mobile or desktop? On mobile that's a known issue I need to fix.
Use a Nip07 extension like Alby or Nos2x.
Your profile banner is displayed full screen on your profile and notifications feeds in NostrGram.
NostrGram has a number of layout options:
* Multi-column
* Twitter-like (single column)
* Pinterest-like (multi-column and just media notes)
* InstaGram-like (single column and just media notes)
You just click one of the 4 icons underneath the note editor at the top of the page.
If you were getting a "Connecting" message on NostrGram in the last few minutes it's because an update to the server was going in. It's in and activated so all should be well now.
I'm working on an update to the NostrGram indexer so that it not only indexes the top 150 relays but also finds any relays in NostrGram user's relay list that aren't currently being indexed -- and indexes them too. My goal is to make sure all NG users' chosen relay data is available for reading.
As always, writing to relays works the same way in NG as in other clients.
No it doesn't. Your settings are saved unless you logout and then back in. In a future update (coming soon) they will be saved across logins also. And when I say your "settings", I just mean your NostrGram specific settings. Everything written to the relays is loaded from the relays each time you login.
NostrGram is no longer purely stateless (it connects to a web socket server now), so if it loses a connection to the server it has to reestablish that connection. It shouldn't be notifying you repeatedly, though. I'll look into getting that fixed.
Just pushed a NostrGram update so the Zappers list is available on mobile. Also, the build number is in the URL now because that prevents browsers from caching the index page. This was sometimes an issue on mobile, particularly on the Android app.
Sure enough, it was #[0]. 🙏 💜

I've been away from the laptop and the Zappers filter isn't in mobile yet. Going to fix that now.
Fixing the money fixes the incentives which naturally causes people to "do the right thing" because that's where the reward is. Even if they don't care about making a better world, they still contribute to it becoming one. A Utopia? No. But certainly a much better world.
Even if Nostr fails to remain decentralized due to the natural economy of scale, it will spread the adoption of Bitcoin via Lightning far and wide, eventually resulting in decentralization of the world's money. And in the end, that will fix everything.
🙏🙏🙏 to the person that sent me the 1 million sats! It came in about two hours ago but I just saw it. 💜
If you just installed Alby you have to refresh the page or NostrGram won't see it.
Ok I'll see if I can duplicate that. It works for me so I'll replicate your info and see what's up. Thanks for letting me know.
Not sure about the lag part. I'm not seeing that and server load is really low, but I'll check the logs. Regarding your follow history, does the pop-up just not show?
Did you see my reply to you yesterday about opening port 444? That's probably your blank screen issue.
Awesome, glad to hear it. There was a big update that fundamentally changed how the client talks to the server and it took some tweaking to get it running right once live. Sometimes you can test for days and still not know how things will run when it goes live.
How is it not working for you now? Been running like a top the past day after refining the server updates. If it won't load for you at all you may need to open port 444 in your firewall. That's the port the web socket server runs on.
Ok. I'll copy your following and see if I can duplicate the issue. Thanks for letting me know!
Not sure. I just tried it and it loaded for me. You're not following a ton of people so it's not a memory issue (it had memory issues in the past if you were following a lot of folks). Is there any error or does the pop-up open but it's just blank?
