You may have been hit by the bots blocker. Try now.

Bug squashed. If you refresh the search/noteId should work.

Somewhere in the code it's putting :: after thread instead of just :. I just have to figure out where and why. Do you remember what you searched for?

Ah ok I'll squash that bug. 😄

The curved reply bottom border is still the same. I haven't changed that.

Man I should have been using square notes in NostrGram from the beginning. So much cleaner and better organized in appearance. 😍

You can use as many clients as you want. Some are better at some things than others, have different layout options, etc. The only gotcha right now is that sometimes doing that causes you to lose your following list (not exactly sure why). NostrGram makes it easy to restore your list from your profile though. Just click the calendar icon in the profile box at the top of the page.

I see the problem. There's an extra : after "thread". Did you copy that directly from the NostrGram url?

Forgot to update a stylesheet file in this last NostrGram update. Refresh and Global/Following by default now have a gray background that contrasts nicely with the notes (imo) rather than just black.

Damus may not support the codex, but it's a standard mp4 codex. Nothing unusual about it.

NOSTRGRAM UPDATE: SQUARE NOTES ON BY DEFAULT

Just pushed an update to NostrGram that changes to using Square notes rather than rounded ones and fixes a few small UI issues.

If you prefer the rounded notes you can go to Settings (⚙️) and set the Note Shape to Rounded under the Appearance options.

Refresh to get the update.

As always, your ⚡ makes NostrGram possible and is much appreciated. 🙏💜

That was my immediate thought too. Looks more orderly.

Thinking of going with square instead of rounded notes. I can make Rounded an option in Settings so if you prefer rounded you can enable it. Square is particularly nice with media feeds like media-centric. Thoughts?

**ACCEPT THAT THIS MESS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY**

I spent the first 37 years of my life in a religious cult, so I understand how people can be indoctrinated to do things they would not otherwise do. Even so, I accept that the things I did while in the cult are my responsibility. They're my fault. I don't do guilt (it's unproductive), but I accept responsibility.

The corrupt financial system is also partly my fault. I supported it, worked with it, helped prop it up. I didn't know any better because I was indoctrinated, but the actions were mine, and I accept responsibility.

(Continues after image)

I got out of the religious cult, and I got out of the Cult of Fiat. I now actively work against such institutions, but it started with accepting that neither would exist if we had all stopped and paid attention to what was being done to us and around us. We didn't ask questions when we should have been.

Many are quick to dismiss personal responsibility. Nothing is their fault. Everything was done to them and that entitles them to wallow in the mire they were thrown into and cause others trouble and everyone has to just put up with it. It's a very fiat mindset.

I like to say that "it's not your fault, but it is your problem." Even if something was done to you that caused you strife and trouble, you're the one that's going to have to deal with it. Many times, though, that starts with accepting the part we played in letting ourselves fall into the trouble or be duped to begin with.

Accepting that is important. It's an opportunity to analyze why we fell for it. If we understand that, we'll be protected from falling for something similar going forward. I guarantee you I will never be in another cult again: religious or secular. I know them all too well.

**So say it with me: I accept responsibility and will never fall for it again.**

It's on my to-do list to be able to mute threads so they don't appear in your notifications. It's just not done yet, but it's coming.

And it's also our fault for putting up with it for so long. I accept the role I played. I'm just glad to be awake now and working against it.
