I know I’m takin’ long
Barely survivin’ off the bong
But when I sing my song
It’ll last all year long
To infinity and beyond
This is a marathon 🐢
Destined to the same
This hidden affliction
The Cypherpunks‘ redemption
Remember what I forget to mention.

Would be nice if there were a way to incentivize TOR relays without the proof-of-stake model that Lokinet and NYM uses. Been meaning to explore this one-day, perhaps with Sats4Files and Lightning — not sure if it’s possible, but I’ll explore this eventually.
True, forking Amythest may not yield much fruit… but a new multiplatform client may. 🍇
I guess relays could share with others if you updated your tree, so it could be similar.
The time it takes to turn your OS into a tree is far too long though lol… maybe in the future when consumer hardware is faster, then it may likely be possible.
Whoops I replied to the wrong post here lol…
Server-sever models like Zeronet et al. aren’t very sustainable because costs for users are too high, and/or speed is too low.
Indeed, still thought worth noting… there are not many examples.

I heard I2P and NYM are attempts at replacing Tor, but I’ve yet to verify if they do so effectively. It’s on my to-do list. Nym is newer, video on it below:
IPFS and Zeronet. Both have serious flaws though…

Already exists :-) for the #bitcoin timechain.
If you don’t have VR, press medium or high: https://symphony.iohk.io
You can fly around the chain and even see the mempool as a black hole in the distance.
