Eat some "Friet met zuurvlees", it's dutch style fries with typical Maastricht style stew.
Which is important but when thinking of onboarding Europeans there is no benefit in transaction efficiency yet. Of course understanding the other benefits will convince many people, but those aren't in the category ease of use where most Europeans tend to look.
Although this is obvious in most of the world, and in this case in the US, in the EU this doesn't exist. I can "wire" any practical amount of euros and it will be spendable by the receiver the same day, or in some cases one bank day later. Without any fee paid. Sadly the EU banking system is more efficient than on chain or LN transactions, for now.
Acting on the desire to belong is a weakness, not a strength.
For the category, "I don't know what to say to a normie at the bbq." Try this:
What to invest in and at what risk is discussed frequently, but what your risk is to not invest in something is hardly ever being discussed and just as important.
"In case it catches on" is the biggest financial risk you will ever witness.
I'm half way in human action, I diverted to Gene Calahan's book because I couldn't get Murphy's book on audible. Human action is going to be a bill I'll read a chapter every now and then. I'll pick up ethics of money production, thanks for recommending.
Hello, why not? Allez-go 😎
It's kind of dry because of the numbers, but all throughout the book it has great perspectives, reflections and anecdotes of the time. My biggest take away: unstable social factors are a threat to bitcoin and bitcoiners.
👍
I used audible for when money dies, worked great. I read all the others except Saifs new book and the big reset, but I won't read anything by Middelkoop.
I just read Economics for Real People by Gene Callahan. I recommend it to anyone who's into #bitcoin.
Other book recommendations:
Rules for Radicals - Alinsky
When Money Dies - Fergusson
Let me know if you have something that fits the trend 🫡
Those who take offense to mockery will be mocked. All else, party on. I like this hashtag #fragilemasculinity If I were into badges I would want it. 😂
Open face Chinese poker pineapple deuce to seven with fantasyland is next. 😎
#[1] is right.
Musk has a point, but that's not the point. The point is that Twitter is susceptible for these censorship policies. Nostr is not. nostr:note15g4eavadkkm8f80unftl2dj7qjfhjywkdv5ezzqu5c6v6fguhausk3zfzw
I see a lot of proof of step counter posts. Are there any cyclists on here? #ridestr
I switched to listening to books on audible. I have many hours per week to listen, while cycling, while working in my workshop or around the house, while drawing, while most things I do really.
