Exactly, this is how it looks like. Russians make most of their army logistics using railways so severing the bridge would be a huge blow to their supply capacity.

Nothing prevents Russians from maintaining their Mercedes cars using whatever tools and parts they have, but also German Mercedes-Benz has no obligation to facilitate and support these repairs with their systems and parts. And nothing prevents Russians from buying cars which do not rely on external services, for example the excellent branda of Lada and Moskvich.

#Ukraine SBU shared videos from the most recent naval drone attacks on #Crimea Kerch bridge in July. One video is first-person from the drone, but two others were taken from the bridge, likely from Russian CCTV installed on the railway bridge and controlled by SBU. The attack was conducted using new Sea Baby drones with 850 kg HE warhead.

That's essentially idea behind any content-addressed distribution system like IPFS, Gnunet and I assume I2P. The obvious problem with I2P and Gnunet is that it doesn't work out of the box in a regular HTTP environment as both require extra daemons with established P2P swarm. IPFS can fall back to a HTTP gateway but then it's nothing more than a CDN.
Two #Russia citizens were detained in #Poland after they were spotted placing #Wagner stickers in public places across the country. They had over 3000 stickers, leaflets and other “Wagner” propaganda items, and they themselves documented placing over 300 in various locations on photos, based on which they received over 500’000 RUB from their coordinator in Russia.
I can’t say they’ve done the business of their life as Russian rouble exchange rate is collapsing and choosing Poland for advertising “Wagner” is probably the most idiotic choice you can make as a Putin supporter.
This year Polish law enforcement has already detained 16 citizens of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, most of them for documenting Polish critical infrastructure and military supplies movement, and sharing them with contacts in Russia.

Whereas “other clean”, including hydro and #nuclear, produced even more than wind and solar, but Ember is in the solar and wind business so they don’t highlight it much, and don’t even mention it in the article. The problem clearly visible here is that while coal and gas are low this year, they will not be replaced by renewables in countries such as Germany which was forced to open new coal plants to compensate for closure of its nuclear. If they haven’t done that, fossil fuels have been in the dark past long ago.
> “Our presidential election is not really democracy, it is costly bureaucracy,” said Mr. Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman. “Mr. Putin will be re-elected next year with more than 90 percent of the vote.”

Last night #Russia fired in two waves: in the first wave they fired 14 "Kalibr" missiles out of which 12 were shot down, 3 "Kinzhal" missiles (no information, likely reached its targets).
Then, overnight they further fired 6 "Kalibr" (5 downed), 20 Kh-101 (13 downed) and 27 "Shaheed" assault drones (all downed).
One of the primary targets was Starokonstantinov military airport which was the target in the past already several times. No aircrafts are hosted there as it was a too obvious target and they were evacuated before 24 February 2022. Ukrainians point out that Russia is firing rockets at old targets, such as disused airports, empty SBU buildings, indicating that either they don't care, just want to report "N locations targeted" or they don't have sufficient intelligence to choose more valiant targets.

This night seems like a never ending chain of cruise missiles, ballistic rockets and "Shaheed" drones targeted at #Ukraine.
Recent naval attacks must have hurt #Russia as these waves, called "retaliatory strikes" (удары возмездия) were usually reserved for Ukrainian military actions that hurt the ego of the Kremlin troll...
#Russia dropped a high precision bomb at blood donation center in Kupyansk, Kharkiv oblast #Ukraine

I've forgotten about the Antonovsky bridge head controlled by #Ukraine, but it seems like the area of control has further expanded. Ukrainian drone has just destroyed #Russia "Murom-M" monitoring station at entrance into the town of Oleshki, which kind of confirms that's where Russian control ends.

nostr:npub1vz555w0w7pdy3l9skg202lkdnjqll4ct67l25f68x2h84e7u7r4qmrqdta That's the first hit on the move I have seen!
The abrupt "flashy" end of the footage suggests the drone might not have survived the blast, but I'm not an expert. Am I over-interpreting the video?
In any caseI think it still would be an excellent "bang for the buck" ratio if the drone can be swiftly replaced. Hoping for the best.

You're probably right about the final explosion, as the drone seems to have hovered quite low to get a good hit. In any case, T-90M is a fat trophy.

It’s interesting how the international journalists continue to use terms like “judge”, “verdict”, “sentenced” etc as if it was an actual legal process driven by the letter of law…
Last night #Russia channels reported "explosions near Crimea bridge". By morning it became evident that this time #Ukraine naval drones hit an empty Russian tanker "Sig" anchored in Kerch strait. The tanker was previously used to supply fuel to Russian army group in Syria. Russian sources published photos from inside the tanker with damaged and flooded engine room, while Ukrainian sources published radio intercepts between Kerch sea control and the tanker crew who confirmed they are immobilized. Along with the previously damaged Russian landing ship, this not only creates a serious threat to Russian group logistics in the south but also to Russian navy which relocated from Simferopol to Novorossiysk specifically for safety reasons. If you donated to Ukraine naval drones crowdfunding run by U24 last year, you can rest assured your money is being spent effectively 👍

Logically following the previous #Russia declaration and #Ukraine response, the latter has just published a Coastal Warning notice 118/23 at https://hydro.gov.ua/?page_id=144 (look for Coastal Warning 118 War risk area until further notice.doc, the documents are unsorted) for #Russia Black Sea ports:

Russia ignored it, but probably not because they didn’t think that Ukraine could materialise the threat.
Ukraine has a problem that Russia doesn’t, it relies on support from other countries, it can’t afford to upset public opinion in the West.
Russia crippled Ukraine’s grain exports (by attacking port infrastructure) and dared it to respond. Ukraine did, not by crippling Russia’s grain exports, but by attacking Russia’s military efforts in Syria.

Russia also depends on other countries, including China, Iran, Turkey and a dozen of others who support it quietly in the background, e.g. in bypassing sanctions. I’m just wondering if the recent attack weren’t a delicate nod towards Turkey, who recently announced it will happily buy Russian (=stolen Ukrainian) grain…

To remind the context of these naval attacks, on 19 July #Russia announced:
> Starting from 00.00 Moscow time on 20 July, all vessels sailing in the Black Sea waters to Ukrainian ports will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo.
That followed Russia's exit from the grain deal, and is equivalent to declaring all these civilian ships military targets. Russia decided to deny Ukrainian grain exports, reinforced that message by hitting Odessa grain silos, and offered grain sales to Turkey and African countries on its own.
But what was largely missed back then was an equivalent statement from #Ukraine made on 20 July:
> As of 00:00 on 21 July 2023, all vessels travelling in the waters of the Black Sea towards Russian seaports and Ukrainian seaports located on the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia may be considered by Ukraine as carrying military cargo with all respective risks.
Russians ignored it, believing Ukraine has no means to materialise such threat.
As we now see, it has. I think the Russian oil tanker was both tactical (logistics ship) and strategic target (message to foreign ship owners and insurers).
