The way I ran my Urbit ship was without a URL. I port forwarded the browser over ssh. TBH, that is what impressed me about Urbit the most. I bought faraday cloth and did some experiments sewing different bags. I settled on a tubesock shape. Fold it over a couple times and slip an elastic band over it. Doesn’t seem to leak at all that way. Plus, no Velcro to fail.
