Haha this made me laugh but itās very true. Make a big deal about not being able to pay your bills
Reading nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a most recent public newsletter, this paragraph strikes me:
"According to data going back to 1960 by the U.S. Treasury, Congress has raised or suspended the debt ceiling 78 times, including 29 times under Democratic presidents and 49 times under Republican presidents. The reason it increases so much is because the government runs a deficit in most years, meaning that spending exceeds taxation, and must be made up for with an increase in total debt outstanding."
It doesn't matter what party is in office, the issue is with the system we have in place. This paragraph makes me angry at first but also gives me hope for a better system. #bitcoin
And donāt believe removing any mention of Bitcoin achieves this balance, just my opinion though
Canāt you have a ānormalā looking profile and still reference your belief in Bitcoin without scaring no-coiners away? Thatās my only point
To be clear Iām in agreement with this. In your face style isnāt for me, Iām a normal person that believes in Bitcoin. So I think weāre saying the same thing, specifically I was referring to the comments around removing every mention of the word Bitcoin from profile. I think thereās a balance
While I agree with making no-coiners feel more welcome, walk me through your train of thought as to why having any mention of Bitcoin in your profile goes against this goal? As in āde-bitcoinifyingā specifically? I do agree with the goal I just think this is a forum to still advertise and promote the use of Bitcoin, perhaps just not the in your face style that many use. Just my opinion, happy to hear your thoughts!
For sure. Seems Bitcoiners could be a proponent of him?
Good morning and Happy Monday (HM)
Food for thought today is itās crazy when I step back and look at whatās happening to money as we know it. More than half of the places I went this past weekend didnāt accept cash for payment.
What implications does this have for the dollar, money and our privacy? āCashā is becoming obsolete in society. The most private, untraceable form of payment we know is going away and 99% of people donāt understand the implications of this. Iām hopeful we can win this battle with #Bitcoin but Iām challenging myself to do more than just DCA and recommend the same to my friends and family.
Interesting, surprised I havenāt read more about this yet!
Wish they would
For those closer to this than myself, BitcoinMagazine and other promoters accounts on Twitter today saying Kennedy is a Bitcoin proponent?
Quick research shows against CBDC = good. But is he a crypto or Bitcoin guy?
Coming up on the 1 year countdown. Time flies when youāre having fun nostr:note19qyjnp4yw4auf0nk8zv6warlhks3msvczxfahnx0e8hph9f6w30qmef5re
Dollar cost averaging bitcoin is just so much easier than any investment alternative
Great meetup last night, thanks #[0]ā and the Mid-Michigan Bitcoin crew for hosting.
Excited to continue actually spending my bitcoin and advocating for the responsibility of self-custody. Lots of good energy, have a great Thursday all
Happy Saturday! HS

Just under a month to go and got 10 miles in today. It was tough, felt impossible to think I need to do 5 more on top of that for the race but I know Iāll get it done. Patience.
