This kind of thing makes it really difficult for people like me who want out of places like IG but don't even know what the right questions are in order to participate here properly without having things break. I use Damus on my phone but can't zap anyone. I use Iris and Primal on the desktop but both of those aren't as good as Damus. I'm still here bc I believe in what Nostr is doing (the overall picture) but looking forward to an easier experience.

Oh that's clever. Lightning...zaps... I have Alby set up to use here, but bc I mostly use Damus on my phone to participate, I don't have the zap function to use, which is really annoying 😕 So if I understand properly, I really have two wallets: Alby and Exodus (correct?)

Wait this is an updated pic. So 8 relays, 2 which are somehow paid for (I don't even know how I got onto those or what or how I'm paying) SO confusing 🙇‍♀️

So if I am understanding...I have 4 relays, 2 of which I'm paying for? I don't even know how that happened.

Nice harvest this evening. I was picking apples off the ground and looked up and (whaaaa???) saw tons of dark blue berries on the side bushes that the birds apparently missed (the Lord blinded them, I'm sure of it). I feel really blessed.

And! I sold my first salve for Bitcoin! I'll be happy once the transaction is complete--bc in wallet, salve in buyer's hands. I know this is old news to you Bitcoin peeps, but try to remember the first time this "potential" hit "reality". And I'm stupid proud of myself for persevering to learn and just try.

Today I'm watching a squeaky strings kids' concert (cello and violin) and after decades of these concerts I know all the tunes and can still chuckle along with the newbie parents there.

And my puppy ate my mini farm grown melon while I was typing stuff to you all 🤨🙄😁

Ugh! I so understand! Technology! I've been without consistent internet now for two days 🙄

Ok. I finally got a wallet set up--Exodus (can I tell you how amazing it feels to succeed at that new thing?!)

Now I want to learn how to get and send BC. But first I have to get BC (this is my brain...slowly turning but yes turning...).

Every year I make a batch of my Boo Boo salve. It is different every year depending on feedback and what's going on (hornets are especially active this year). This year it's made from--all organic/wildcrafted--sesame and olive oil infused plantain, yarrow, and calendula, and mixed with 3% lavender and lemongrass essential oils (enough to do the job, but light enough to use on your small kiddos). Beeswax of course, and all properly sealed.

I only make once batch every year, mostly because I don't have a passion to make herbal products outside of what my clients individually need. These are sold out every year.

Salves made from green herbs should be GREEN, not some limpy beige. These oils were infused properly and are potent.

SO. Does anyone want to send me bitcoin for salve? Even if you don't need or want salve...but you do want to help another person learn the ropes of the bitcoin economy? Annnnnd...even if the answer is still "no", maybe you could pass this along to your friends?

I normally sell these for $10 (not including shipping). Show me I *can* participate in a parallel economy. How do I do it?

I feel your pain. My internet is sketchy the last few days and my cell reception is always so low!

Brunch today: cheese omelette with sausage, shiitake mushrooms, shallots, and asparagus. Fig-almond tart made with coconut flour. Latte with coconut oil, collagen, turmeric, cinnamon, honey and orange essential oil. I only eat twice a day so this will carry me to supper. But don't be too impressed--tomorrow might just be tea and a slice of sourdough toast with 1/4 inch of butter on top 😜

Millionaire shortbread and a late afternoon latte. I was trying to think of how I moved forward today. I don't think baking this was it. But I sat outside and enjoyed watching my piglets, and sometimes gratitude is the best way forward.
