Beautiful bowl! And yum!

It's a sourdough cinnamon roll with orange-coffee glaze served with eggs kind of morning. Still waiting to see what happens in the property next door. Already there's a lot more light so my garden plans are now changing (for the better). This weather always makes me want to bake! Glad I have a large family to eat it all so I won't!

I can't wait for all of this to be made understandable (and easily usable) for people like me. I trust that will come.

Day 2 of listening to massive equipment take down enormous trees. Wondering what will happen next (will a house go up in our backyard?) and what kind of fencing I now need. On the plus side, my back garden is getting a ton more sunlight so that will be great come next spring. I'm happy on my small acreage but sometimes I dream of a hundred or more, just the spaaaaaace.

If I can help just one mom, I want her to know: she doesn't have to be a perfect teacher, she doesn't have to know everything or even how it's all going to turn out, she needs to care for herself and respect her own talents too, her kids don't have to finish every page of every textbook, and that having a good relationship with her kids is worth more than any academic anxiety. Teach your kids to stay CURIOUS and to ask questions, and then blow the embers of that. It will be all right! Books drops on Oct 9!
