Haha let's try that Good Morning again! 😎

Good morning!

It's popsicle season!

1 cup pureed strawberries

1 cup cooked down/pureed rhubarb

1 cup rose simple syrup

Delish!

Made some summer flower jelly to enjoy in February when I need a taste of summer. Lavender and calendula with a bit of rose and borage. Smells good and tastes real nice.

aw...it was good inspiration to make my own home as clear and healthy as possible. A clean, uncluttered space is the most beautiful and restful imo 😊

Found a treehouse to sleep in. It was pretty epic.

to dump them into, initially...but we grew our spuds in black cloth bags first! 😁

And just to keep me humble, *all* this from one of my potato bags. I definitely got them out too early. One of my bags was a total dud. Three more to go, here's hoping.

Very happy with my garlic harvest! Nice bulbs and plenty of worms I had to knock back into the garden. After it cures, I'll be drying and powdering most of it. That makes my kitchen smell like an Italian restaurant but I love garlic so much I don't care.

Yes I love having something analgesic growing. Never thought of Yaupon though unlikely I could grow it here outside of a greenhouse. My coffee replacements tend to be root and mushroom based, but there's no caffeine there (for better or worse).

Mainly bc I'm tired of it but also I don't have large swaths of grassy pasture anymore and the kids don't want to give up their volleyball court πŸ˜‚

Khaki campbell. Same timeframe. We scalded them first maybe that was our mistake. Did you do that?

Crazy good garden this year and so very thankful. But I seem to have a glut on the veg side of things as my farmer friends already keep me well supplied. So I'm considering turning my beds over to more unusual plants and more medicinal herbs instead. I'm going to chat with some chefs in town and see if they'd like some

edible flowers or whatnot, or if I can grow something specific for them. I've been harvesting every day, definitely in my happy zone.

What unusual plant or herb would you grow if given the chance?

Four of my five potato bags look amazing, the garlic is ready to pull, and the plums, figs, and apples are coming in strong.

My chicken coop is almost finished and ready for a fresh batch of birds from someone wanting to downsize their year old hens. I'm really ready to retire from a decade-plus of chicken tractoring; hope I can keep the yard decent by limiting the size of the flock on it and perhaps dividing up the yard into sections. We shall see.

The deer did finally discover the buffet 🀨 so I've been trying to thwart them without getting yet another outside dog (my maremma died of old age, there's no replacing him).

Super enjoying the sunshine! 😎

How does your garden grow?
