Sim, no geral sim. Mas tem que haver umas bases.
Por exemplo, Cuba e Venezuela não estavam preparadas para aquele populismo/socialismo, naquele momento.
A Argentina já estava melhor. Ou seja, ou destrói por completo ou cria reacção.
In a world without gold, gold was the most useful thing ever. Because now you could have a way to price things in a very precise way, that doesn't change. This saves a lot of time and allows truly real and efficient capital allocation, allowing for meritocracy and thus real societal evolution and growth.
That's the power of Bitcoin. It's a way to bring meritocracy to the world.
Sure, some people didn't have gold until after some other people and were at loss because of that. But they eventually got there with their work, intelligence and merit.
Because Bitcoin is so valuable, people won't give it away so easily. But they will, people like to do things. Bitcoin will flow to everyone eventually.
I don't get this logic.
You don't think millions of people that now own Bitcoin buying stuff with the first bottom-up, free-market perfectly defined price is not going to benefit the rest of the world?
Where do you think those Bitcoin will go too?
I also don't get "Bitcoin only protects your power of purchase if you're on a Bitcoin standard". By Bitcoin existing the whole world can already be on that standard or not?
You’re welcome! This is one of the coolest and most beautiful Thom Yorke songs in my opinion. And there’s plenty of them :)

The old guard money is dying in Europe and they only have themselves to blame.
Germany will decline drastically in the next 5 years and with it the EU. The EU is basically German (and French) money.
This doesn't mean the Europeans will start fighting with each other. On the opposite, this means the Germany will drastically lose its influence.
Which is good for the German citizens too, because the model wasn't working for them also.

It's so incredible that you're here, Cris. What a time to be alive! People from all walks of the world understanding the importance of Bitcoin and Nostr. It's awesome :)
Bitcoin L2 is a currency or no?
This is crazy. Great chart by the way!
Great job nostr: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 people. It's a great idea. I'm eventually going to install this on a VM just to save time.
I'm especially interested in:
https://apps.umbrel.com/app/nostr-relay
And the LN node.
It looks amazing. Thanks again for the amazing work!
Here it is: https://apps.umbrel.com/app/nostr-relay
Not easy at all. Clients saving posts, user npubs and relays locally, and people using their own private relays would basically mean it's impossible to censor.
I think Umbrel already comes with a simple Nostr relay.
Deep knowledge vibes.
Yeah, if I really wanted to price something in Satoshis I would find the perfume price in USD today and just use that equivalent in Satoshis.
So I don't know, for a perfume, something between 10k and 100k Satoshis would work fine, I would say.
Sure, but some things are much more difficult to fail than others I would say :)
Love it. I get that idea. In other words Bitcoin was just meant to work.
And Nostr is the next one! :)
It's all about the journey. That's the journey!
What if Bitcoin just keeps growing from here on now?
What if the instability of the past, the cycles we all know, was just a product of institutional and political/regulatory uncertainty?
I mean, Michael Saylor himself has said that this is Year 0 of adoption due to Blackrock and other huge institutional investors buying in.
Have we achieved critical mass and it's just game theory and too big too fail now?
