Two things newcomers should know about Nostr:

1. No matter what client you are using, whatever it says for your follower count, you can trust it.

2. If you post something you later regret, no problem! Just delete it and it will be wiped from the Internet forever.

This is good advice. I know there are a lot of carnivores on here who think they're allergic to sugar. People are doing intermittent fasting and only eating meat for dinner.

I did that, lost a lot of weight. Problem is, it takes willpower and you'll get rundown and sick after a while. When/if you take a break, your metabolism is fucked and you'll bounce back/regain all the fat you lost.

Sugar in and of itself is not bad. Do some research. Look into Kempner's rice diet. Does your keto/carnivore influencer ever explain that?

Fat melts off of you on a water fast because your cortisol and adrenaline are running high. It isn't good for you. Sugar suppresses cortisol.

Buying the sats is better in the short term, insignificant in the big picture. It's like people years ago himming and hawing about waiting for bitcoin to drop below $3000 to buy more. We're going to infinity.

People saying you will never recoup your investment do not have low enough time preference. Your currency is going to zero and those few sats the BitAxe earns you each day are going to be generational wealth someday. Not only that, but you are decentralizing the network.

nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 do you know of any issues that would prevent your wallet from starting on a shitty (moto g play 2023) android phone?

It never seems to get past "starting node".

Have you been suuuuuper patient? Because it sometimes takes a long time.

Too many weird coincidences around them. Are they a CIA op or something? Remember looking into this when it was originally announced, but haven't really seen any updates since.

She inspired me to make some educational stuff for my daughter. We drew a basic skeleton, laminated it, and cut out the pieces. I went through the names of the major bones with her and had her disassemble and reassemble it. Fun and cool!

When you were partying, I studied the nut. When you were having premarital sex, I mastered Chaumian ecash. While you wasted your days at the gym in pursuit of vanity, I cultivated inner strength. And now that the world is on fire and the barbarians are at the gate, you have the audacity to come to me for help.

While I didn't build my own CPU from raw silicon, I did verify instead of trusting. I went a few levels deep.

First, I downloaded and installed Android SDK on my laptop.

Then, I used apksigner to check the signatures on accrescent[.]apk

Then I moved the .apk to my phone and installed.

I used Accrescent to install AppVerifier.

I used AppVerifier to verify the .apk for nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0

Always remember, it is best to double check the certificate hash from a different source than where you are getting the .apk. For example, if you got the file from zapstore.dev you should crosscheck their Nostr account and make sure it is the same there. While it is always possible someone could compromise both, it is less likely.
