Since the Pre-historic ages and the days of ancient Greece
Right down through the Middle Ages
Planet Earth kept going through changes
And then the Renaissance came and times continued to change
Nothing stayed the same, but there were always renegades
Like Chief Sitting Bull, Tom Paine
Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X
They were renegades of their time and age
So many renegades

That's gonna melt a Raspberry pi or two

I terms of "high time preference efficiency" maybe yeah, got to give you that one. To each his own, as long as we all get to eat some eggs for breakfast, it's all good.
In any case, good fight!⚡
what's the best nostr desktop app these days?
I've mostly been using iris, sometimes snort but I have a few painpoints with boths (iris does not sync with umbrel nostr relay and snort does not load media from links)
Well, that may work for you and your nonstick pan, but cast iron is a different story. I came to learn that it requires a bit more care and attention to maintain but if you give it some love, it'll never let you down.
But I guess if you're satisfied with your easy-to-clean nonstick pan, that's your choice. Just don't come crying to me when you have to replace it in a year or two because the coating has peeled off.
(never would've guessed that arguing about pans was going to be a big thing for me today!)
dude, that sounds gross, so you just soak your nonstick pan full of egg fat and oil or butter or whatever it is you use in water and then cook in it again the next day 🤢 Congrats, you made me use the vomit emoji for the first time ever on nostr 👏
For me it's the opposite, since I discovered that cast iron should only be washed with water and salt, no soap, I've really been enjoying the cast iron and haven't touched the nonstick pan for weeks. I also like that the cast iron pan seems to have inifinte lifetime, while nonsticks' coating always eventually peel away.
I finally installed and tried Wasabi Wallet, and it's really good, the experience is much better and smoother than Samurai. Seems like there's less features, but for someone who wants to keep track of derivative addresses and coinjoin, it might be the best tool out there, especially for beginners. Also seems like coinjoin is cheaper than Samourai's.
What am I missing?
Me too 🥲
I use an app called "Simple crypto widget" to get Moscow time as a widget, but I couldn't find one that shows mempool fees, would be convenient...
Is this on iPhone? No such widget on Android with Blue Wallet...
Scavenge for some iodine tablets in the ruins of the city because if Bitcoin hits zero it can only mean one thing: the nuclear apocalypse just started and I somehow survived.
I too follow #[5] in the Ordinal spaces. I admire your perseverance and ability to keep hammering down the same message in the absence of immediate positive feedback. But I'm sure you're reaching some of those guys.
Onward!
Sounds good! But what would be the difference with the Tails distribution?
Exactly and the incentives allow them to max their revenue if they behave rationally, meaning choosing transactions with higher fees. But now there's a parallel market outside of the protocol that directly competes with financial transactions in which 1 sat is not worth 1 sat anymore: pay a miner in FIAT and they'll mine a full block of JPEGs for you, without any financial transaction because the JPEGer knows they can "resell" each JPEG from that block at a much higher value.
It doesn't break the software, but it changes the incentives for sure, especially if it lasts.
