Alright you bitcoin fanatics- you got me curious, where does one start down this rabbit hole for self custody as a noob. I want to drink the koolaid.
I’ve made my bed in my career, but i look at what you guys are building here with Nostr and hope my son will show interest in projects like this. If you were guide a young apprentice, what would be the core skills/education/knowledge/etc that you would recommend to get them started as a young adult?
To do lists, calendars, email apps, you name it i wanna know
Looking to remove my personal life from suites like 365/apple/google gsuite. Give me a hit list of alternatives: browsers , email hosting, vpns, you name it. Ill still maintain the common ones for my business but I want more control over my information, privacy, and honestly, to stop financially supporting those companies.

Why don't more people use Damus/Primal (NOSTR) in general for advertising their business/products/services. It feels like more of a Bitcoin club than anything else. Genuine question from someone who is interested in finding alternative ways to share their content and products outside of the X/Youtube ecosystem.
So far i've found as a noob it's a bit hard to find/connect with people who share your interests.
I guess i’ve heard that tale a few times in my life about people and platforms; however, this does feel different. Im hopeful thanks for the welcome :)
