Me: Bitcoin is a better money than fiat.
Also me: I still don’t understand money.
“There is …no agreed-upon formal definition of ‘superintelligence,’ though it is typically refers to an intelligence that vastly surpasses human capabilities in virtually all domains, including scientific creativity, general wisdom, and social skills—exceeding human cognition across the board. Superintelligence is generally perceived as going beyond artificial general intelligence, or AGI, which, though also vague, typically refers to an AI system with human-level intelligence across a wide range of work-related tasks. That is, it can reason, plan, solve problems, understand language, and learn in a generalizable way, much like a human.”

“I wondered to myself is this the new opiate of the masses?
Approved conspiracies manufactured for wide public consumption while the real ones are swept out of view.”
Deflation is bad for governments and good for savers. If only there was a good savings tool….

“Home defence in the Nordic and Baltic states is not just an adjunct to the “real” military – it is the core of their defence policies. Finland has tested plans to mobilise up to 1 million troops, most for home defence, in time of war, and the aim is that this would be achieved in a week.”
If AI wins, will housing costs go down? Probably not.
If Bitcoin wins, will housing costs go down? Probably.

Beautiful! If we can’t have flying cars in the 2025, we can have long walks and clear thoughts.
“In a world built to hijack your focus, silence is resistance.
And being in the moment, in the present, is power.”
“the solution is to get better friends
people who won't spend enough time to at least briefly understand something you're passionate about and just wave it off also don't really value you or your judgement. So wasting your time on them is pointless.”

"...the value of a currency without intrinsic value is imparted to it by the power of the state that controls that money. Taxes just tie it even tighter to the governmental power"
“…complaints about other countries’ surpluses could quickly change if we end up in a scramble for the world’s available capital that will make the trade wars look like child’s play.”

“The dollar is clearly a piece of junk whose value has decreased by 99% since its genesis.
Yet, it's still the most powerful fiat currency, capable of preserving purchasing power more than any other. This is due to the fact that it is the most USED currency for global transactions. The usage supports and perpetuates the value, even against the headwinds of Cantillionaires (and the US gov) siphoning much of the value away.
Usage clearly is an incredibly important input to the equation. Imagine if Bitcoin were USED for even a little bit of global trade.
I’m not certain we’ll ever witness that day, considering that here in 2025, even those among us who comprehend the significance of the stakes persist in prioritizing convenience over liberty.”

If you haven’t studied Bitcoin, you’re uninformed. If you rely on mainstream media, you’re misinformed.

Paul Krugman:
“New York’s problem now isn’t rampant crime or scary immigrants. It’s affordability. …And while we can and should debate the likely success of Mamdani’s proposals, affordability has been his main focus.”
“It is perhaps unsurprising that a near-octogenarian with a history of delusionary public statements and unhinged late-night social media screeds might confuse the dates,” the lawyers wrote. “But Fox’s decision to cover up for President Trump’s error cannot be so easily dismissed.”
“pitting my laziness against my avarice to limit the rate of consumption”
This reminds me of James Clear’s words:
You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems.
“India stands at a pivotal juncture. A measured Bitcoin strategy — perhaps a reserve pilot — could strengthen economic resilience and project modernity.”
Imagine if Indians embrace Bitcoin the way they have embraced gold!
Maybe these people who apparently despise wealth do so because they see how pursuit of it can takeover a person’s life.
Perhaps the pursuit of assets which are truly interlocked with property rights (Bitcoin) rather than wealth with weak property rights (assets which are easy for the government to seize, regulate and tax) will help break this cycle.
For true wealth means less of a need/compulsion to chase meagre returns.
Do the opposite. Not to ‘make a case’ but because it makes you happy and it’s a better way to live.
