Imma head out. Good night.
I had the exact same feeling. You’ll want to give it a couple of months and then rewatch it.
Look at the pictures attached. This is sorta the way I see it.

Test
Diamond Observatory
A Diamond Anvil Cell is a "high-pressure" instrument. The diamonds act as the delivery mechanism of extreme pressures (generated by vices squeezing the diamonds) but at the same time their transparency provides the window to observe the subject under test.
The diamond itself is the observatory as well as the instrument.
What is the kind of pressures are generated by such a device? 640 GPa. The pressure estimated at the very center of the earth is a mere 360 GPa.
Thank you, sir.
I was making notes today and discovered I wasn't 100% sure if it was SM censorship or if something else was involved as well.
Here is the note in question: https://primal.net/e/note1dnmg4e7wn5fvt4vf6rx6gctk0fqegvjp357yqx05p5cn5yq8n3wqtlx0yj
Can someone write a plugin for Obsidian that publishes a Zettlekasten note to nostr? It'd be useful I think. That said, it would be really cool of there was a Zettlekasten event 'Kind' (like Kind 45000 or something) that the same plugin could read into Obsidian from nostr relays. I'm starting to look at Event Kinds as sort of a 'filter'.
If say myself and 5 other people were all sharing the zettlekasten notes we wanted to across nostr as event kind 45000 (or whatever) then only the clients that read those Kinds would pick those up, reducing clutter for other clients.
That way several people could use nostr as sort of a shared zettlekasten network.

The Subject Defines the Observatory
Astronomical observatories are fundamentally different in appearance and contents than oceanic observatories. The subject defines the instrument. The universe tells us what we need to build whether it's to define or explain aspects of the universe itself or to merely function inside of it.
Hubris causes us to force instrumentation in search of a subject and, in essence, seeks to edit or cause undue alteration of an extant subject. This is how central banking and governments came into existence. Money came first, organically, because it was a necessary instrument. Humans organizing themselves was also a first principle, organic necessitation. Central banking and governments show the telltale hallmarks of "forced instrumentation": Violence against humanity and being late to the party.
Correction noted. Thank you.
Not sure wtf Mogo is. All I see is a domino.

Welcome

Bitcoin And nostr Forces The Rare
Most earth minerals are rare and so are "good" ideas. For a mineral to be rare at least one of 4 conditions must be met:
1) An eccentric composition
2) Selective formation conditions
3) A fleeting lifespan
4) A dangerous environment
Bitcoin and nostr were not only birthed by two of these four conditions, they are instantiating their birth conditions upon other things which, in turn, will cause the creation of similar ideas. It's a cascade effect and we are watching the very first domino drop.
Bitcoin had the weird composition of depending on a rag-tag group of developers, fanatic users, a nodal structure, and an insatiable capacity to ingest energy from any source capable of producing electron flow. nostr, while not energy hungry (but does posses an inestimable hunger for information), at least shares the first three conditions with bitcoin.
nostr was birthed, and I'm reaching here because I do not know if this is true, as a reaction to increasing censorship on legacy social media (and other) platforms. Censorship, by definition is violence (See "Undue Alteration") and that is a very dangerous environment indeed. Bitcoin was birthed under circumstances even more brutal and insidious: a continuous, unrelenting, and worsening global financial environment brought about by the two most violent entities in existence; Central Banks and Governments.
What may be missed is just how quickly and tightly the elements of nostr and Bitcoin bonded to form a "molecule" that is as unstoppable as it is uncensorable.
