Everytime I start a new ambitious project for my home lab, I put on my Citadel Dispatch hat and my girlfriend rolls her eyes 👨💻
Tailscale partners with Mullvad!
This partnership allows customers of Tailscale to make use of the Mullvad VPN servers as “exit nodes”. This means that while connected to Tailscale, you can access your devices across Tailscale’s mesh network and still route outbound traffic through Mullvad VPN servers.
HUGE.

Excellent!!!
Excited for the auction! How can we bid?

I could keep the addresses in KeepassDX - but I can't copy/paste from Sparrow Server, so it's gotta be a QR code unfortunately.
I'd like to keep a few onchain Bitcoin receive addresses from a cold wallet on me. Probably in my phone, for when I purchase sats peer to peer. I could just store camera pictures of the QR codes, but is there another simple way to do this? The cold wallet is using Sparrow Server CLI and a Hardware Signing Device in a remote location.
Did y'all hear about the BTCPayServer app?
🚨Not everyone knows how to deploy a server, but everyone can run an app on their phone⚡️
We've teamed up with Spiral & LDK and began working on the BTCPay App.
Aiming to replicate the success and impact of the BTCPay Server for e-commerce payments, the BTCPay App is laser-focused on brick-and-mortar business.
To scale #bitcoin effectively, lightning must be user-friendly and non-custodial for mom-and-pop stores!
We're beginning a long journey, but it's the only way to stay on track with our mission -ensuring anyone can accept bitcoin, anywhere, anytime without intermediaries. 🚀

Awesome 🔥🔥🔥
Sprained a muscle in my foot sparring yesterday, so today I got a few projects done:
- Setup Sparrow Server (CLI version)
- Installed GrapheneOS on an old phone

Woke up and shadowboxed 1 hour to start the day right 🥊

I'd like to have the option to pin certain accounts's content rather than seeing 'suggested profiles'. Unless the account is popular enough to get many boosts, I often miss notes from my favorite devs and artists when I'm not on Nostr for a day. Rather than search (especially since searches take a long time and have mixed results on most clients) individual accounts, a 'Favorite accounts' feed would be great. Just my top 8 accounts perhaps.
Hard to break the habit of just using Nostr as social media, but I plan to test Spring more and use Highlighter, Nests, and other apps.
I do like having everything in one place. It's difficult to close tabs, and I'd prefer no suggestions on my home screen. But overall I like it, and will continue using it.
Reinstall of Amethyst fixed it.
I'm already on some very popular relays within the Amethyst settings (added them manually). But still, that's an interesting difference that I wasn't aware of. I'll try to reinstall Amethyst and do some other troubleshooting.
Loaded my nsec into Spring browser to try Coracle and now I see the many notes I'm accustomed to. Might be an issue with Amethyst nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqppamhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt0d5q36amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3dwp6kytnhv4kxcmmjv3jhytnwv46qz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wghxyecrzy6tn
Hmmm, Amethyst is telling me I'm 9/9 for relays. They're all up according to this app.
